We are currently booked through April but wanted to share a test bake with a new recipe. Calling all Erin Young 's co-workers she will have a plate with her tomorrow to share. We would love to hear from you about what you liked and didn't like.

Cabin fever experiments with a collection we are working on. These are concept only and a place we try anything. This is the foundation for our Sugar Buzz BaBee platter.

Working on techniques like flood and color mixing is something you never want to do in the middle of an order. We also have a huge spectrum of metalics I like to experiment with (Erin not so much).

In this experiment actually eight colors and one edible pigment powder gives the pieces shine without the heavy metalic feel. Yellow is hard but black and red are the hardest color to master.

We have learned a lot from this experiment and will be ready for a May 2025 baBEE shower order. Jacob and Jim have graciously offered to complete the test process by eating them.

Erin Young and I finished a set of Fall Guy theme cookies. Every cookie order is an adventure of "What went wrong? What went right!" Proof of concept a couple of weeks ago helped make this a success. Everyone was pleased with the way these turned out and no cookie stunt doubles were harmed in this bake. 👍

Last year we made and sold a lot of sweet treats for Halloween. We are already experimenting with things we might offer for Halloween 2024.

Our experiments are done very quickly just to see if it is possible, worth the effort and what we need to do to make it a delight to look at and eat. Our experiments are proof of concept not finished product.

The photo below has a spooky apple and chocolate dipped marshmallow and pretzel skeleton. Jake was a big help this evening and has taste tested everything giving it an A for taste.
