UpNorth Social looked a little different this morning! Kendra Johnson and her wedding party took over the space for a full morning of getting ready together before the wedding.

Matching pink, hair and makeup stations throughout the room, brunch charcuterie, mimosas and N/A bubbles, and plenty of laughter and excitement as everyone got ready for the day ahead.

Congratulations, Kendra & Austin! 🤍 Kendra, thank you for choosing UpNorth Social to be part of your wedding morning. We loved having you and the girls here and getting to play a small part in such a special day.

The sun is shining, the air is crisp, and there’s still plenty of beautiful weather left to pour a glass of w**e and relax outside.

Last weekend, University of Minnesota students spent time at Double T Acres in Lake Shore touring the farm and talking with the owners about what it takes to grow food. They got to see the place behind the produce and ask questions about the work that goes into bringing it to the community. 🌱

We were glad to be a small part of their visit by bringing dinner to the farm. We served a mix of our ciabatta sandwiches and everyone's favorite mini cookies from Crosslake Coffee, alongside strawberries grown right there at Double T Acres. 🍓

Thank you, Tracy, for having us and for bringing the students together for an evening like this. It was lovely to see them learning at the farm and then sharing a meal there.

Two years. ❤️

This weekend marks two years of UpNorth Social, and more than anything, we just want to say 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝐘𝐨𝐮.

When we think about the past two years, what we really want to celebrate is all of you.

To everyone who has walked through our doors, brought friends and family in, celebrated something special with us, ordered a board, trusted us with an event, shared a post, told someone about us, or simply kept coming back... thank you.

Your support has allowed this little idea of ours to grow into something we are incredibly proud of, and being part of the Crosslake community makes it even more meaningful.

And we couldn’t ask for a better weekend to celebrate two years because 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐲𝐬 is here! 🎉

There is so much happening around town, and we’re excited to be part of it again this year. Be sure to stop by during the 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐤-𝐎𝐟𝐟 and try our White Chicken Chili. Come hungry, thirsty, make your way around Crosslake, and enjoy one of the best weekends of the year.

Congratulations to Jenna & Ryan! 🤍

We had the pleasure of hosting their rehearsal gathering at UpNorth Social, and it was such a beautiful way to begin the wedding weekend.

Their evening was relaxed and intimate, filled with family, friends, good food, w**e, laughter, and all the excitement that comes with knowing the big day is almost here.

There’s something so special about the night before a wedding. The anticipation, the stories, the laughter, and having so many of your favorite people all in one place.

Jenna & Ryan, thank you for trusting us with this little piece of your wedding weekend. We absolutely loved hosting you, your family, and your friends.

What a special evening. 🤍

We had the honor of hosting Kait & Cole’s grooms dinner at UpNorth Social last night, surrounded by family, friends, great food, and so much love.

The evening was designed to feel relaxed and welcoming, with a styled charcuterie spread, seasonal salad, a build-your-own harvest bowl station, self-pour w**e and b**r, and plenty of time for everyone to gather and enjoy being together before the wedding day.

One of the most memorable moments was the heartfelt speech from the father of the groom. It was touching, personal, and such a beautiful reminder of what these celebrations are really about.

Brian and Carol, thank you again for trusting us with such an important evening for your family. We’re so grateful to have been part of it.

And to Kait & Cole, congratulations! We hope your wedding day was absolutely perfect in every way. 🥂

A surprise engagement celebration on Lower Whitefish Lake, and one of those evenings that reminds us exactly why we love doing this. 🤍

We had the opportunity to help create the food experience for Eva & Zach’s engagement party, including a 𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲 𝐬𝐭𝐲𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐝𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐨𝐧 𝐚 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝟔𝟒-𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐡 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞-𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐛𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐝, house-made chicken salad mini croissants, a fresh build-your-own seasonal salad with honey smoked salmon, and a petite sweets spread with macarons, chocolates, berries, shortbread, and other little touches.
