Taste of Crookston registration is officially open! 🍽️
And friendly reminder: you do NOT have to be a restaurant, food vendor, or professional chef to participate.

Taste of Crookston is open to restaurants, businesses, churches, clubs, nonprofits, organizations, community groups, and anyone with a favorite recipe or crowd-pleasing dish to share.

Your “taste” can be simple! Think bars, cookies, chili, soup, sliders, puppy chow, root beer floats, family recipes, comfort food favorites, or something your group is known for making.

Participants will choose a category:
Appetizer • Salad • Soup/Chili • Main Dish • Dessert

This is a fun way to represent your business, organization, or group, connect with the community, and be part of one of Crookston’s favorite Ox Cart Days traditions.

This is the FINAL 2026 Taste of Crookston registration form! Please return all registration forms either by mail, in person or by email at the addresses below no later than AUGUST 3, however the sooner the better as space is limited and will fill up fast!

What’s Happening This Week?

🦅 We’re excited to welcome the many visitors coming to Crookston for the 123rd State Eagles Convention. While convention activities will be taking place throughout the week, we’ll be hosting and serving many of the women attending from across Minnesota and look forward to being part of their stay in our community.

🍔 Extended Food Service Hours:
Tuesday, June 16 through Friday, June 19, we’ll be serving food continuously from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM, so whether you’re grabbing lunch, meeting friends for supper, or stopping in between convention activities, we’ve got you covered!

🧑🏻‍🍳 Behind the scenes, we’ve also been busy meeting with the Taste of Crookston Committee, working to make this year’s event more exciting than ever. We can’t wait to share more details in the coming weeks!

One of Crookston’s favorite Ox Cart Days traditions is returning this August, and we’re excited to welcome everyone to a new home this year inside the ballroom at Scobey’s Pub & Grub and Events & Weddings by Laura Lee.

Taste of Crookston brings together local restaurants, businesses, churches, nonprofits, organizations, and community groups for an evening of great food, friendly competition, live music, and community celebration.

Come sample incredible food, discover new favorites, and cast your vote for this year’s People’s Choice winners.

Interested in participating?

Whether you’re a longtime Taste of Crookston favorite or considering entering for the very first time, we’d love to hear from you.

New for 2026:
🎵 Live music
🏆 Prizes awarded
🗳 People’s Choice voting
🙋 Volunteer servers available for participants who need extra help during the event

One of the biggest barriers we’ve heard from participants over the years has been staffing. This year, volunteer servers will be available so participants can focus on what they do best—sharing great food with our community.

All food must be prepared in a licensed commercial kitchen.

Taste of Crookston 2026 is proudly presented by United Valley Bank and is an official Ox Cart Days event.
