Two years ago, Ella joined The Cupcake Ladies, and from day one, she was a natural at everything she put her hands to. She was dependable, always on time, eager to learn, and took pride in doing every task with excellence. Watching her grow has been such a blessing.

Truthfully, I knew our time with her would be limited. Ella’s heart’s desire was never just a job—it was a Godly marriage, a Godly home, and a family of her own. That is exactly what we prayed for together. Even when others tried to make her doubt that dream, she chose to keep believing and trusting God. Last month we celebrated because God has faithfully answered those prayers.

One of the sweetest parts of this season was getting to create the table cake and cupcake bouquets for her shower and reception. Ella and I both love trying new things, and this project was such a special one for us. It is honestly one of my favorite creations we’ve done so far.

While we are going to miss her tremendously, our hearts are full as we watch her step into this beautiful new chapter. We pray God’s richest blessings over her marriage, home, and future.

And as God closes one door, He opens another.

Many of you know our daughter Abby, and we are excited to share that she has rejoined the business. She has jumped right in and is adapting to all of our new processes amazingly well. We are excited to see what this next season holds.

With so much change, and after nearly six months of helping my mother through health trials and transitions, David and I have decided it is time for a complete reset. We will be taking this week off to travel west and spend time with family, refresh, and recharge.

The bakery will be closed through June 14, and we will be back and ready to bake on June 15.

If you need to place an order, please leave us a message. We won’t be monitoring messages regularly during our break, but we’ll get back with you next week when we return.

Thank you all for your continued support, prayers, and encouragement. We look forward to serving you again soon—with rested hearts and fresh inspiration.
