Today in Crestwood we had a great time serving the community, but this was bitter sweet. It has come to our attention that some in the community are still grieving the loss of the Chops Bbq owner who unfortunately passed away last May. We knew Chops and was saddened to hear of his passing. Since last summer, we had been asked by people in the community to bring our trailer to that location. People know us from having our restaurant in Centerfield for 5 years, but we thought it was too soon. After discussing with my wife and some in the community, we felt it would be alright to ask the property owners if it we could set up, since it had been approximately one year ago.We never intended to disrespect the family and friends of Chops. Hopefully, you all will be able to stop by and share the good memories of such a great guy! God bless.
