It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Matthew Martinez.
Matthew was a beloved son, brother, and dear friend whose energy and spirit touched everyone around him. If you knew Matt, you knew how deeply he loved his mom and sisters, and how passionate he was about his favorite Boston sports teams. His enthusiasm, sense of humor, and positive attitude made a lasting impression on so many people.
Matt was a valued member of our Bamboo family. He was wonderful with our customers, always brought great energy to the restaurant, and was someone his coworkers could count on. Matt learned and rolled sushi at Bamboo for many years. His presence brightened every room he walked into, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and working with him.
We’d like to thank everyone for there support with Matthew’s battle with cancer through the Go Fund Me .
Our thoughts, prayers, and heartfelt condolences are with Matthew’s family, friends, and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.
