Good evening Family. Friends, Clients, and Customers,
I hope this finds you doing well. I have to share with you that Veneto's Pizzeria @ The Kitchen Table is closed.
My family and I have given literally everything we have to give at this point, and simply cannot give anymore.
I want to thank every single one of our regulars and loyal guests for your continued support over these last 3 years, we would not been able to hold on this long without each and every one of you.
We are not backed by investors, I am not a millionaire, or even close to one. We are a day to day operation, and have been from day 1. Blood, sweat, and tears, unfortunately do not pay the bills. If they did, we wouldn't be closing. But it's not because we don't have the business. It's because we can not find workers. It's extremely tough for all restaurants right now. So. Please support local and private ownership as much as possible.
This week has been amazing as I believe God has different plans for us. On Monday, I got a text message stating that someone was interested in buying the restaurant. I asked if they had even seen the restaurant and she said no, but would be there in 20 minutes if that was ok.. I said yes and I met them at the restaurant. She loved it and we had good conversation. We agreed that they would think about it overnight and let me know for sure on Tuesday. We'll she signed a contract on Tuesday and we closed the transaction today. So, tonight I walk out of Veneto's for the last time as the owner.
The flood from March really hurt us being closed for right at 6 weeks and receiving no compensation for loss of income or inventory. I made things work as long as I could. We had some family health issues as well. The way I figured it, there was no way to recover from that loss. So, God blessed us another way.
It's sad but bittersweet. I owned the best pizza restaurant in Creedmoor for the past three years exactly. I bought this place 10/1/18 and we made a lot of friends that have become family.
Thank you again to all of the folks who have stuck by us. Y'all mean the world to me and my family, I hope you know that. I love you guys and I don't think this will be the end but we will see....
