HOLIDAY ARTIST SERIES

October 17 – December 19
Saturdays • 9 AM–2 PM

We are looking for artists and makers who create original, handcrafted work.

Some of the artists we would love to feature include:

• Jewelers
• Glass artists
• Metal artists
• Painters and illustrators
• Woodworkers
• Fiber and textile artists
• Handmade home goods makers
• Leatherworkers
• Potters and ceramic artists
• Mixed-media artists
• And other unique handmade creations

All products must be handcrafted by the artist and clearly priced. We are looking for interesting, one-of-a-kind work—not mass-produced or commercially manufactured merchandise.

We want our customers to discover something special, meet the person who made it, grab a great cup of coffee, and shop local this holiday season.

Space is limited to one featured artist each Saturday so every maker gets the opportunity to be promoted and featured.

We have a super special Natural processed coffee in store NOW! Papua New Guinea Jiwaka Arufa. This is sweet, slightly floral with some citric acidity. This is a wild old world example of natural, balanced, and decently fruit forward cup. We have limited quantities of this bean so if you want to try it, don’t wait too long! Read on for more info on this spectacular bean!
This is a natural processed lot that stands out not only for its taste, but its fascinating origin: the virgin highlands of the Jiwaka Province. Its cultivation takes advantage of one of the best-preserved Typica variety arabica genetics on the planet, a heritage from the early plantations introduced in the early 20th century. The production of this particular lot is made possible by Monpi Coffee and the Kindeng wet mill, where the finest cherries grown by local smallholders are meticulously sorted and sun-dried for a full month, taking advantage of the cool mountain climate. Beyond its deep background in sustainability, community support, and environmental preservation, this bean translates into an exceptionally sweet and wild cup of coffee; a product that, when roasted to a medium level, unfolds highly fruity notes, floral touches, and a citric acidity that is characteristic of old-world natural coffees.
