It’s hard to believe it’s already September and Hay Days is right around the corner… one of our favorite times of year. 🤍
It’s also kind of crazy to think we just wrapped up our 4th summer in Cozad. That still feels surreal.
It hasn’t all been easy though. Inflation is hard right now. As consumers with a family, we feel it, and as small business owners we feel it double. Electricity, product, supplies… everything just keeps getting more expensive. So when it’s slow, of course it can feel scary. But at the same time, we get it, because we think a lot of people are feeling that same pressure at home.
We caught ourselves getting a little too wrapped up in the scary and the what ifs today, and decided we needed to spend a little more time looking at the good too.
So here’s a little August dump. Baby showers, a rehearsal dinner, Music Mondays, lots of carbs, familiar faces, new faces, and a lot of really good moments mixed in with the hard ones.
Things can be hard and still be really beautiful at the same time.
And maybe supporting local doesn’t fit the budget or the schedule right now, what a crazy time of year. That’s okay. But when it does, Cozad is full of small businesses that would be so grateful to have you.
As small business owners, and really just as humans, thank you. 🤍
