100th anniversary of The Sun Also Rises is in, and with it is Howie Southworth ‘s Hemingway’s Spanish Table- a cookbook inspired by the Iberian-set novels of Ernest Hemingway. Pretty nice pairing for a bookstore/café shelf!

If you know, you know…
This weekend Austin Gray will move on to a real grown up job! It’s hard to imagine a Shipwrecked without. I tapped Austin 4 years ago, when I felt like I was underwater and would never find my way out. I needed help at Shipwrecked, but I also desperately needed a friend, a confident, and someone to help me find our path forward. Austin has been all of these things, and the entire business and myself owe a debt of gratitude for the consistency and stability they have given us. It’s a different place today due to so many changes we made together- we all love you so much, and are so excited for you. I can’t believe I have to do my own inventory now. Woof.
