MEET THE H.E.A.D. SQUAD! 💙 🧠

We wanted to find a fun, memorable way to help our community learn the warning signs of a brain aneurysm, so we created a little squad to help us spread the message.

Meet Hattie Headache, Ellie Eyes, Addie Alert, and Dottie Dial—four little brains with a BIG job:
H — Sudden, severe HEADACHE
E — Blurred or double EYES
A — Confusion or ALERTNESS changes, including fainting
D — DIAL 911

Every minute matters.

And they're not just staying on social media. 👀

The H.E.A.D. Squad will be joining us along the Miles for Minds Community Walk, helping guide walkers along the route and teaching the warning signs along the way. 💙

And because we couldn't resist making them even more fun… we're working with local crochet artist Allison Crisp to bring the H.E.A.D. Squad to life as collectible crochet keychains! They'll be available as blind bags, so you won't know which little brain you'll get. 🧠✨

And there may be a rare Miles hiding among them…

MILES FOR MINDS IS GETTING CLOSER! 🧠 💙
What started as a way for our family to honor Joyce has grown into something we hope will become an annual community event—and we would love for you to be part of it!

On Saturday, October 24, we'll come together for the first annual Miles for Minds, benefiting brain aneurysm awareness and honoring Joyce Stauffer. We'll have a 2-mile community walk, motorcycle dice run, and JoyceFest with live music, food, vendors, raffles, and more!

But here's where you come in. 💙

Register for the walk and start your own fundraiser! Whether you're walking in honor of someone you love, walking for someone whose life has been affected by an aneurysm, or simply want to help spread awareness, you can create your own team or participate as an individual and help us make an even bigger impact.

🍁🍂Fall Pop Up at the Pavilion 🍂🍁

We are excited to announce our first Pop Up at the Pavilion will take place Saturday, October 24th from 12pm-4pm at The Wilkins House in Cowpens.

We will be partnering with Cowpens Coffee & Creamery by donating 50% of vendor fees to The Brain Aneurysm Foundation in honor of Joyce Stauffer.

💙 Our why: Joyce Stauffer 💙

Before Joyce became the reason behind Miles for Minds, she was simply Joyce—a wife, mother, sister, friend, and someone who loved bringing people together.

She had a way of making people feel welcome, and she loved her family, her community, and finding reasons to celebrate. She especially loved Halloween, which is one of the reasons we knew October would always be a meaningful time to gather in her honor.

But Joyce’s story is also the reason we believe so strongly in the importance of awareness.
