Everyone, meet a local heart warrior some of you may already know — Emmanuel Martin! ❤️

Emmanuel’s heart began failing when he was just 9 days old, on Christmas Day. His parents rushed him to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, where they received the care and support they needed. Through his incredible medical team, the love of his family, and most importantly, God being there every step of the way, Emmanuel’s life was saved.

Today, Emmanuel is 3 years old, thriving, has no restrictions, and absolutely LOVES our 6-ct cookies! And he’s been a Chick-fil-A fan for quite a while! Swipe to see a throwback photo of Emmanuel enjoying a yummy chicken nugget.

Stories like Emmanuel’s are exactly why Cookies for Kids exists. It’s about supporting heart warriors like Emmanuel and families like the Martins who have experienced the uncertainty and challenges that come with caring for a child with a heart condition.

Briella has a rare genetic condition that led to congenital heart disease and had her first open-heart surgery at only 5 days old and another at age 3. Today, she is a happy kindergartner who loves music, dancing and sharing her beautiful smile.

Damian was born prematurely when doctors discovered a serious heart condition. He has since undergone two open-heart surgeries and 11 heart catheterizations, with another surgery ahead. He’s a happy little boy with high energy and a love for snacks and apple juice.
