I would like to apologize for not having the Texas Tw***ie Eggrolls on the menu Friday like I said I would have. Also, I’ve had people asking about us being open on Saturday’s.

I’ve recently found out I have cancer. This past week I have been put through the wringer on having test done and will have my first surgery Tuesday. I had an unexpected appointment Friday that I didn’t even know until Thursday afternoon thus the reason I couldn’t make more Eggrolls as promised. It bothered me I said I would have them and then couldn’t be there to make them.

Nothing will change at the restaurant and it will continue to run as it always has with the help of my daughter Jess Essary and my wonderful staff.

Now for being open on Saturday’s, I will need to get over this hurdle and get staff in place and I hope to be open in the near future. That’s my plan at least.

We appreciate all our wonderful customers and ask for prayers as I go through this battle. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we navigate through this next chapter of my life.

It has been a very very busy day today. We have had to turn online ordering off due to us running low on bbq. We will still be open till 7 even if we run out of bbq, we still have lots of other options to order. Thank y’all so much for your business. We couldn’t do it without all you wonderful customers!!!
