You gotta love this community!
One of my sweet customers overheard me saying I needed to look a little more professional for a picture I had to send in because I was invited to be on a coffee panel at the Cincinnati Coffee Festival on October 24! The topic is “A Conversation Across Cultures.”

And guess what she did? She let me borrow her jacket! How sweet is that?!

This is why I love Latonia so much. It's not just about selling food and drinks. It's about the people, the friendships, and all the little acts of kindness that make this community so special.
Seriously, how did I get so lucky to be surrounded by such amazing people?!

Making some fun little drink experiments with my son! Mixing colors, trying new flavors, and seeing what we come up with! Some turn out amazing, and some… well, LOL!

One of my favorite dishes to make and share with everyone is Papaya Salad (Som Tum)!
Growing up in Thailand, papaya salad was such a big part of my everyday life. We grew our own papaya trees, and we would make papaya salad for a snack, lunch, dinner, or just as something delicious to share. It’s one of those dishes that brings back so many childhood memories.
When I first made it for Ken Ken Baker TV and saw how much he loved it, I was so happy! And now, being able to make papaya salad for more and more people every day at Layers & Flavors truly means so much to me.
Today, a lady came in and asked for “Pet Mak!” That means VERY SPICY in Thai! And she absolutely loved it!! That little moment made my whole day.
It's more than just papaya salad to me. It's a little piece of my childhood, my culture, and my home that I get to share with you.
Thank you for letting me share the food I grew up loving with all of you!
