We had an amazing response to our Name the Hog contest! Picking a name was not easy. Hundreds of you dropped a name in the box or scanned in online — some entries were sentimental, and some were downright naughty (we got a good laugh, no regrets).

So, please welcome Miller!
Kitty-corner from the bar sits the old mill ruin — one of the last pieces of the canyon's working history. Miller's a nod to the folks who worked this canyon back when it ran on lumber, not l***r — this place was their bunkhouse long before it was ever a bar.

And now for the prizes! Lauren M. is our random drawing winner.

And to Skyler B. — you didn't actually choose Miller, but you led us down the path, and that's worth a tote of its own. Thank you for the nudge.

Where do we even start?

To the bands — The Pickpockets, Sky Cougar, Gordon Greenwood, Michelle Moonshine, Morgan Snow's Country Ramble, Meander Cat, Stonefed, Hivemind, and everyone who joined us for Open Jam — thank you. You are the sound of this place.

To our staff — thank you for pouring your hearts into this week. None of this happens without you.

To you — whether you come for the patio, the barstools, or the bands, you've built something here. Not just a bar. A community. We don't exist without you.
