URBAN KITCHEN IS HIRING... NIGHT MANAGER
We’re looking for the right person to take the lead during our evening shifts at Urban Kitchen.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 7 hours per day
No weekends!
Starting pay: $18/hour
Potential to earn up to $22/hour based on performance
This isn’t just another crew position with a manager title. We’re looking for someone dependable, level-headed and confident who can take ownership of a shift and keep things running smoothly when the owners aren’t there.
The first 90 days will be an introductory period so we can make sure this is a good fit for both sides. After 90 days, pay will be reviewed based on performance and level of responsibility.
What we’re looking for:
• Previous restaurant, hospitality or management experience preferred
• Strong customer service skills
• Calm and professional under pressure
• Comfortable leading and directing a team
• Able to handle customer concerns without escalating situations
• Excellent attention to food quality and order accuracy
• Someone who sees what needs to be done and gets it done
• Dependable and able to show up consistently
• Willing to work alongside the crew, this is a hands-on position
• Comfortable holding people accountable while still treating them with respect
What you’ll be responsible for:
• Running evening service and keeping the crew organized
• Making sure food is prepared correctly and orders are accurate
• Keeping ticket times moving during busy periods
• Handling customer concerns professionally
• Assigning and following up on cleaning, prep and closing duties
• Making sure the kitchen is properly closed and ready for the next day
• Communicating problems or concerns with the owners
• Helping create a professional, productive and respectful work environment
We can teach you our menu and the way we do things at Urban Kitchen. What we really need is someone with good judgment, a strong work ethic and the ability to lead.
