8 years of Stella Jean’s. 🍦
Sunday, October 18
8 years. 8 shops. And so much love from us to you. ♾️
The number 8 has always held a special place in our story.
In Thai culture, 8 is considered lucky, symbolizing prosperity and good fortune. When we opened our very first shop, Gan’s mom had one request: open on a date with an 8.
So we did. And we’ve kept that tradition ever since. Every Pop Pie Co., Stella Jean’s, and Little While shop has opened on a date with an 8. A little luck, a lot of hard work, and a reminder of where we come from.
What started as one little ice cream shop in University Heights has grown into 8 shops, with three more on the way. More than we ever imagined.
Through it all, our love for globally inspired flavors, childhood memories, and nostalgia remains the same. Because ice cream has always been about more than flavor. It’s about how it makes you feel, the memories it brings back, and the new ones we create together.
To celebrate, we’re bringing back an original! 🎂
Earl Grey + Citrus Tea Cake returns with a birthday twist: Earl Grey + Citrus Birthday Tea Cake. Available by the scoop at all 8 shops, while supplies last.
And at University Heights, the first 50 guests will receive a 4 oz jar of our housemade guava jam! 🎁
Inspired by Steven’s Cuban heritage and his late grandmother, Valentina, it’s the same jam in our beloved Guava Cream Cheese ice cream. Spread it on toast, dip a croissant or fresh fruit in it, or enjoy it straight from the jar. It’s that good.
Eight years in, we’re proud of what we’ve built, but even more grateful for the people who’ve made it possible. Our team, our families, our neighborhoods, and every person who’s shared a scoop with us.
Thank you for eight incredible years. Here’s to everything still to come.
