Exciting news!
So......our fry sauce.....after talking it over with my wife we've decided it shouldn't go away just because Cheesy did.
I've passed the recipe to Reeners Smash Burgers in Albany!!!
I showed them how to make it, and just stopped in to try it and make sure they've got it right and, they NAILED it!
They're even adding it to all their burgers as a spread. The burger I just had from them was absolutely delicious!
I wondered if it would bother me to part with it and the answer is NO it doesn't. Norene is an amazing lady, and Reeners Smash Burgers is an amazing business.
I'm just happy it went to a good home!
Bottom line is this, if you loved our fry sauce, and want to have it again, go to Reeners Smash Burgers in Albany and enjoy!

My friends!!!! It's been too long!
I've wanted to post on here and let you all know how I've been, and I guess today is the day.
First off, I can't thank you enough for your support during a really really difficult season. I thought I was going to own Cheesy for the rest of my life. Deciding to close, though for good reasons, was still probably the hardest decision I've ever made. I tried to be positive in public, but in private I was grieving. The love and encouragement I received from you all made such a difference....
Now on to the happy stuff! If you all remember my wife (who was a stay at home mom for 9 years) was the one who got an incredible job offer working for Stahlbush Farms. She's been there over a year now and she loves it! I remember her coming home from her first day of work and she said "I had no idea how much I needed this!" Super healthy for her!
I've had the absolute pleasure of being the "stay at home" dad! School drop offs and pickups, doctors appointments, field trips...all of it!
My boys are 2, 7, and 10 so lots of different experiences God has allowed me to be immersed in! My 2 year old is my little rider. We do all things in life together while the older boys are in school. I'm getting time with him I didn't get with other two at this age. I've definitely changed more poopy diapers in the last year then the rest of my life combined lol
Other cool thing is in June of this year I started working for KGAL/KSHO radio. I do the news and weather in the morning, as well as help small businesses by using our stations as a platform to grow. Best part is I can bring my little guy to the station with me, and do sales stuff primarily from home!
God has blessed my family with financial stability, while still allowing me the time to raise my boys! I'm beyond grateful...for everything.
Lastly I want you all to know I've been working with Reeners Smash Burgers in Albany. Norene (the owner) is a wonderful lady, and it's been a lot of fun helping her make some amazing changes to her incredible business.
If you haven't tried them, or if you haven't been there since we made some changes a week ago, you need to check it out! Burgers and service are on point!

It was so nice making a big batch of fry sauce again! I missed it. It made me think about a lot of things I miss doing in my restaurant. I loved my job, but it was time for a new season in life.
Waking Isaiah (my 1 yr old) up from his nap everyday and getting the chance to cuddle with him while he drinks his bottle.....jeez...there's nothing in the world I'd rather be doing.
What a blessing!
I'm working my second batch of fry sauce tomorrow. I've pre sold most of it, but I have 10 bottles left I can sell! If you missed the first batch don't miss out on this one!

Calling all Cheesy Stuffed Burgers fans!
I think I'm going to make a big batch of our famous fry sauce for anyone interested in grabbing some!!
Im still deciding on some packaging decisions, but assuming they were stored in 16oz bottles and sold for $8 each.

Who wants some?!?!?

Please include your full name, address, how many bottles you'd like, and how you'd like to pay. Payment can be done through Venmo or cash/check upon delivery.

The bottles are kept cold in the refrigerator so I think the best option is I'll drop them off at the address you'll include in the email. Just like Doordash or Uber would. In a sealed bag on your doorstep.
I'll respond to your email with a delivery date and time.

Hello Facebook friends and family! I had an idea I want to run by you all. Switching to a stay at home dad role for now has been incredible! School has started, and my two oldest boys aren't home during the weekdays now.
Ive owned dogs my whole life, and have experienced every phase of life. From a puppy to senior dog and everything in between. I would really like to start building a clientele of people who need help with their dogs. I could come to your house for your dog's bathroom break, playtime, and a visit, as well as offer dogwalking.
I'm available Monday through Saturday, almost anytime of the day. I only ask for a 2 day notice ahead of time for scheduling. I have experience and comfortability with any breed, size, and age of dog. Serving Albany/Corvallis and surrounding area.

Big news!!
Hello to all my family, friends, and Cheesy supporters.
I want to keep everyone in the loop. A lot has changed in the last couple months. Most of you know our storefront closed at the end of July. So many of you came and supported us in those last couple weeks and I am so so grateful!!
In my last announcement our plan was to still operate our food truck, as well as serve at Reser Stadium for OSU football. This plan has changed.
I thought long and hard about how I wanted to communicate our next steps to you, and in the end I've decided to just be completely transparent and honest.
Closing Cheesy storefront was a difficult decision, and one that my wife and I prayed about for months. More than anything we prayed for clarity, that whatever God wanted us to do we could hear him clearly.
This prayer was answered. Even beyond what we expected.
8 days after closing our storefront my wife was offered her "dream job". She's been a stay at home mom for over 9 years, and an incredible one at that! Now she had the opportunity to go back into the work force, employed by an incredible company, doing something she loves.
She had to take it!! In God's amazing sense of humor it meant I would be switching roles with her, I'm the stay at home dad....for now :)
Please understand I've worked 50+ hours a week my kids entire lives! My three boys are 9, 6, and 1, and I now get the chance to do so many things with them ive never been able to do before!!!!
In this new season I want to be the absolute best dad, and husband I can be! Which means I'm selling my food truck, not doing OSU games, and closing my business for good. As long as Cheesy is in existence it will always try to consume my time and energy, and right now, God has asked me to be consumed by Him, and my family, ONLY!
OUR FINAL EVENT with our truck will be this weekend at Timberlinn Park in Albany. The Art and Air Festival. We are serving Friday 3pm - 9pm and Saturday 11am - 8pm.
THIS WILL BE THE LAST TIME ANYONE CAN HAVE A CHEESY STUFFED BURGER. Please come see us, and enjoy a burger that was designed to put a smile on your face!

My family and I can't thank you all enough. I love you all, and I mean that with every part of me. The last 11 years have been hard, but the most rewarding 11 years I've lived.

HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT!!
Cheesy Stuffed Burgers will be closing our downtown storefront location at the end of July.
I know my friends....intense......
I've been thinking a lot about how I wanted to share this news, what to say and not to say, how to put a positive spin on something most will find to be negative. At the end of the day, I'd prefer to just be honest.
Since the pandemic began our profit margin has gotten smaller and smaller. Increased food costs and increased labor cost have left my family and I working really hard for a very small amount of net income. It's come to a point where I need to make the decision that is best for my family. As much as I LOVE owning/operating this business, what is most important to me is taking the best care of my 3 little boys and incredible wife that I can! Cheesy is just not the best way to do that anymore. We have no health insurance, no 401K, no real paid time off, and I constantly lack the ability to "clock off" and carve out important time with my family.
I hope you all know this decision has not come easy for me. I've prayed, stressed, fixated, worried, future tripped, etc over what the right thing to do is for several months. I've consulted my advisors, and the people that know me best in life, and this is the decision I must make.
At this time I intend on keeping the food truck. I'm not ready to shut the door on Cheesy completely, but the storefront has to go. We will continue to rock out all these amazing summer events with our truck, and I'll keep you all posted on what's next for Cheesy as things continue to take shape.
From the bottom of my heart I can not thank you all enough for your support. Corvallis, and everyone in it have my love and adoration forever! My family and I appreciate you all, and express our deepest gratitude for the 11 years of success you've allowed us to experience here.
