🦌🇺🇸 DEER SEASON AT MONTY'S, FOLKS! IT'S GOING TO BE HUGE! 🇺🇸🦌

You asked, we listened. Nobody listens better than Monty's, believe me. For ONE WEEK ONLY, November 30 to December 5, we're opening extra days for our hunters:
🍳 Monday–Thursday: 7 AM – 2 PM
🍔 Friday & Saturday: 7 AM – 8 PM

Hot breakfast before you hit the woods, a great meal after a long day. And don't worry, you DON'T have to get a deer to eat at Monty's. We feed the unsuccessful hunters too. 😂

AND THAT'S NOT ALL! 🏆 HEAVIEST HASCH 2026 runs November 21 to December 6. Around here, we don't just hunt deer, WE HUNT HASCH! Two leaderboards, Heaviest Buck and Heaviest Doe, and each one has its own winners:

🦆 SOME THINGS CHANGE… BUT THE MEMORIES NEVER FADE! 🇺🇸

Look what we dug up at Monty’s! A little piece of history!

Back in the day, you could stop by Monty’s, buy your Federal Duck Stamp, check in your deer, swap a few hunting stories, and probably hear a few stories that got bigger every time they were told. 😂🦌

Times have changed. We don’t sell duck stamps anymore, and we don’t check deer.

But one thing hasn’t changed… MONTY’S NEVER DIES! 🇺🇸

The memories, the friendships, the hunting stories, and the generations of families who have walked through these doors are what make this little place special.

🦌🏔️ HUGE SHOUTOUT AND CONGRATULATIONS TO MY NIECE! 🎉

She just harvested her FIRST BULL ELK out in Colorado! What an incredible accomplishment and a memory she’ll carry with her for a lifetime!

That’s a whole lot of meat for the freezer! 💪🦌

❤️ THE HEART OF A MAN — WHAT REAL STRENGTH LOOKS LIKE.

Real strength isn’t about how loud you can speak, how hard you can hit, or how much power you have over someone else.

Real strength is having the discipline NOT to say what your flesh wants to say or do what your flesh wants to do.

It’s choosing patience when you’re frustrated. Grace when you’re wronged. Humility when your pride wants to take over. And love when it would be easier to walk away.

At Monty’s by the Lake, we’re building more than a restaurant. We’re building a place where people matter, where character counts, and where serving others comes before serving ourselves.

We’re far from perfect. We’re people learning, growing, and trying to do better every day.

🇺🇸 MONTY’S IS LIT UP AGAIN, FOLKS! BIGLY! 🇺🇸

First and foremost, a HUGE thank you to our incredible customers and our AMAZING staff. Truly tremendous people. The BEST! Without you, none of this would be possible. ❤️

Now, take a look at this BEAUTIFUL sign!

For years, the Monty’s sign sat in darkness. Very sad. Nobody could see it. Some people probably thought it would never shine again.

WRONG! THE LIGHTS ARE BACK ON, BABY! 💡🇺🇸

And that’s not all. New roof, new floors, kitchen improvements, and a whole lot of other things getting fixed that needed attention LONG before we arrived.

Meanwhile, we’ve got people on Facebook predicting our demise. Very interesting people. Apparently, they have more confidence in our closing than we do! 😂

Some people wake up early to build businesses. Others wake up early to write their obituaries. EVERYBODY NEEDS A HOBBY!

But here’s the thing, folks…

We’re still cracking eggs at 7 AM. 🍳

Still serving WORLD FAMOUS BURGERS. 🍔

Still frying up that BEAUTIFUL Friday fish. 🐟

And still making those INCREDIBLE Saturday ribs! 🍖

We’re not trying to be the biggest restaurant in Ohio. We’re trying to be a little place where people feel welcome, families make memories, and our employees are proud to work.

The lights are on. The grills are hot. And the rumors of our demise have been GREATLY EXAGGERATED!

To everyone who has supported us, encouraged us, prayed for us, or simply walked through our doors and bought a meal — THANK YOU.

And to the critics? Keep watching. We’ve got plenty more lights to turn on. 😎

You guys helped us feed over five families last week! ❤️🍗

It worked so well that messages kept coming after all the spots were filled—so we’re doing it again this week!

Monty’s by the Lake is giving away five 4-piece chicken dinners to families who could use a little pick-me-up.

Know a family in Bristolville, Mecca, or Cortland? Send us a private message with their name and delivery address. We’ll deliver to the first five families this Saturday between 4–6 PM.

Thank you for helping us share the food and take care of our neighbors. ❤️

We overordered 4-piece chicken dinners, and our freezers are too full… so let’s get five of them to families who could use a pick-me-up!
