Happy Father's Day to our own Johnny B. 💙

If you've spent any time at Swordfish, you've probably seen John hard at work on the forklift, coming in on the boat after a long day of fishing, or kicking back with a Johnny B's Rum Runner at the Tiki Bar after the work is done.

Johnny raised his three kids the Cortez way: work hard, take care of your people, and don't be afraid to get your hands dirty. That's why you'll always find them around the dock, each carrying on the family tradition in their own way.

The truth is, Swordfish has always been a family business. We're all family here, and Johnny's built a place where hard work, good food, and good people come together every day.

It’s National Go Fishing Day, and if you’ve ever had lunch or dinner with us, you’ve probably watched the charter boats pull up to the dock with the day’s catch.

If you’re looking for an excuse to get out on the water, book a trip with Captain Lance and the crew at Florida Fishing Fleet. They know where the fish are, they’ll put you on them, and you’ll come back with a story worth telling.

Better yet, you’ll return to the same dock where the day’s catch gets cleaned and the cold drinks are waiting. 🎣🍻

Father’s Day is almost here, and we’re just going to say it… Dad doesn’t need another coffee mug. 🥩🦞

☀️ Looking for Recommendations! ☀️

As we begin our first summer at our new campus, we’ve realized we could really use more shade for our campers and staff.

We’re exploring options for a shade structure, pole barn, pavilion, or other covered outdoor space and would love recommendations from our community.

If you know of a company, contractor, donor, or individual with experience designing or building these types of structures, please comment below or send us a message.
Additional shade would help create a more comfortable and accessible environment for the children and families we serve, many of whom spend their weekends and summers making memories at camp.
