hello little guppies! we have been working under the sea on a fun new project…it is time to share phase one with you. please join our journey on fish to watch the hatching of our new tinned fish bus!!! it’s part store, part therapy and part party…coming this fall to the greater hudson valley! wanna talk tuna? how about mackerel? (the dog or the fish🐶) there will be seaweed, fish puns, and all of the tins you have come to love from zinnias but on wheels. tell everyone. and put our new number in your phone. yup! the sardine hotline is a real hotline! call or text 24/7 with your tinned fish questions, for recipes, ideas, jokes, or just tell us a story! number is posted on the sardine hotline’s page. gotta go! work to do 🪼🫣🌊😬🐶🐳🍦🐟🍤🦞

I know I know. The road is closed again again and so I must make a post even though sometimes I feel like posting on social media makes me wanna claw at my eyes. The road is closed for an undetermined amount of time. We are now basically at the end of a dead end. Well the detour is easy. If you know the area, you will not find yourself just passing by us. Here we are with the largest selection of preserved fish on earth and our first softshell crabs of the year. Don’t make us be lonely. Regular hours seven days a week and we would love to see you. Myself and the other businesses that find herself on this deserted island right now, actually in the position where we can survive a long-term road closure. Anyway, that’s all for now. Come have crabs.

hi. it’s me. I know sometimes when restaurants close for a brief period of time we assume that they are never going to open again. That is not the case with Zinnias’s dinette. Every March we close for the month of March. We do this because fortunately for everyone everything in the restaurant breaks in March. I have made a deal with the god of the restaurant breaking things that things cannot break until March or late February. Now that everything has broken and everything has been repaired please don’t ask about how it was raining through the ceiling of the kitchen and we had to replace the ceiling and also don’t ask about the ice machine or the mini splits or like seven other things and definitely don’t ask about the double freezer. I’ve breathed through these things and moved on. We shall open tomorrow, April 1 as we always do. I actually cannot fu***ng wait to see all of the humans that I work with as well as all of the humans who are hungry and want to come and eat with us. Let’s make this the best fu***ng year of the weird little restaurant on the main road between two main places that just kind of popped up out of nowhere ever. I love you and I can’t wait to see you and I am not complaining and I am very happy and we got clam strips in today and all the stuff is ready. Come eat with us. also, we probably have the most tinned fish options on earth.
