Pad Thai never goes wrong!😋🔥🥢

A Guinness World Record was set at a Songkran festival in Los Angeles on April 26, after 1,338 Pad Thai portions were sold within one hour by chefs from 48 restaurants. The event took place along a closed three-kilometre stretch of Hollywood Boulevard and drew more than 200,000 attendees.

The "2026 Thai New Year: Songkran Festival" was described by organisers as the largest Thai festival held outside Thailand. Activities ran from 8am to 9pm and included a cultural parade, Muay Thai demonstrations, live music, and a cooking competition.

The event was supported by the Tourism Authority of Thailand and the Department of International Trade Promotion. Representatives from Guinness World Records confirmed the record on stage, with certificates issued to participants.
