Six years married, and I still really like this man. ❤️

No Hawaii this anniversary. Just a motorcycle ride, a late lunch at a little mom-and-pop diner, and my favorite person beside me.

After losing his mother this year and spending so much time away from home, these simple moments mean even more.

He’s kind, strong, loving, and supportive. We have fun together, and I’m thankful to Yah for the life we get to share.

The plans were simple. But there’s nothing small about being loved this well.

Happy anniversary, sweetheart. I’d choose you again. ❤️

Six years into living in a holler, and I’m learning where my talents lie. 😂🐔

The chickens are laying. The dog is doing fine. The cat has gone full country.

Meanwhile, my sweet potatoes have given me beautiful leaves. Actual sweet potatoes? Still waiting on that report.

I can bake your cookies. Growing the groceries is apparently a different department. 🤷🏽‍♀️

These little cookies started the whole thing. 🍪

Almost three years ago, I started Better Butter Cookie Company with my mom’s butter cookie recipe.

Nothing fancy. Just little golden cookies, real butter, and a recipe worth sharing.

People look at them and start trying to remember what their family called them. Refrigerator cookies? Butter cookies? “My mama used to make those!”

Around here, I call them Butter Bliss. And they’re the reason “Home of the Old-Fashioned Butter Cookie” means something to me. 💕

Then there are my mini chocolate chip cookies—little, crispy, and made for reaching into the bag “just one more time.” If your grandma kept homemade cookies around, these might bring back a memory. If she didn’t, Auntie Tee has you covered. 😉

Could you sneak a cookie out of Grandma’s cookie jar without her hearing that lid? 😂🍪

This cookie jar belonged to my mother-in-law. Seeing it got me wondering about the jars that sat on so many kitchen counters—and what everybody kept inside.

Peanut butter cookies with the fork marks? Oatmeal raisin? Old-fashioned butter cookies? Or store-bought cookies that Grandma made sure never ran out?

I made it home safe—and apparently brought myself an office makeover. ❤️😂

Thank you to everyone who reached out to check on us. I appreciate you thinking of us!

I wanted to keep some of my mother-in-law’s furniture, and now it has a new place in my office. A little of her here with us as we settle back in.

Of course, moving furniture is one thing. Getting that paperwork under control? That’s a whole other job.

So Auntie Tee traded her apron for overalls, tied on a bandana, and got to work. Watch until the end for the office reveal!

Then it’s back to butter. 🍪

Auntie Tee is officially HOME! 💕 The cookie dough, however, is still waiting on me.

After almost 3,000 miles from Washington to Tennessee, we made it back. If you saw my last reel, you already know—I’ve got some unpacking to do before I start unpacking the butter. 😂

I’m giving myself a little time to get settled before heading back to the kitchen, but our first Cookieville Junction stop is on the calendar!

One inherited truck. Almost 3,000 miles. And a whole lot of “we can fit that.” 😂

We gave it a good cleaning, loaded it up, and headed for Tennessee looking like the Beverly Hillbillies.

And yes, I’m getting rid of a lot of things when I get home to make room for what I bought. Out with the old, in with… somebody else’s old. 🤣
