Alright Conway every time I come at the pineapple patrol I feel bad so we’re gonna run a special in the window starting tomorrow for you guys , even though this one hurt me a bit to put together 😅

We got a homemade pineapple jam with prosciutto , sun dried tomatoes , mozzarella , pecorino & some pineapple sage . And it wouldn’t be an Anto’s special pie without some citrus zest and burrata

In the window starting tomorrow while supplies last !

Its been a while since I’ve done one of these , I’m a bit overdue ! There’s a reason why I don’t care about Google or Yelp reviews and Eli here is one of them

People will go online to trash your business while leaving out some very important details just to make you look bad . We work very hard to run this shop every day , we are a very small team for the amount of business we do and there are limitations that we have . Which we talk about regularly . We don’t do future orders but go out of our way to text just about everyone to let them know their order is ready

Eli here was told his pies were going to be ready in 15 minutes . He said he would be late , we said ok no problem . He came and ate his food without ever saying they weren’t hot , so he decided to leave us a comment on our POS system that nobody offered to warm his pizzas up for him and that he was going to leave a review . I called him from two separate numbers and sent him a text to follow up . He called me back and we spoke for 5-10 minutes before he said have a good night and then I hung up the phone . A few minutes later I get a call back from him asking why I hung up on him , calling me a piece of 💩 and telling me to go 🍆 myself . Then we get this review

These are the worst kind of people , who will sit behind a screen or a keyboard to complain and curse you out but refuse to say anything while they’re in front of you , these people are the reason a lot of people in the industry want to get out of it

But on a positive note I do think it’s impressive that I am able to be Jersey trash without even being from Jersey ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Other then that , thank you Conway ! We’ll see yous next week 🕺

One of my favorite times of the year because we have been getting some really cool greens from our friends at Microledon Farm ! Here we have some borage & some citrus lace that has a very cool tangerine smell . Combined with some prosciutto , Straciatella & lemon salt . Topped w some Green Chili Jam 🌶️

We’ve had a few people that would really like to see us do pineapple on our pizza comment saying it’s not fair that we won’t do pineapple but will do edible flowers , zucchini , lemons , etc - and I think unfortunately I agree with them . I’m still not going to do it , but I hear you & I see where some of yous are coming from

Anto’s is finally coming to the beach !

We are really excited to team up with to help with some fundraising efforts this summer ! They are an awesome mom & pop business in Myrtle who started this non profit to help teens and young adults with disabilities get working experience

Be sure to follow their page and support these guys and see what we have cooking up here soon

Also want to say thank you & give a shoutout to for passes to see last night . Gmoms in town so we were out to dinner but we got there right before Post went on and got to see White Iverson , so it was mission accomplished ! We hope everyone who went had a good time . Being someone that didn’t necessarily excel in college (it took me 7 years after I graduated HS and 4 different colleges before I could get my associate’s) it was very cool to be at Wall School of Business at Coastal Carolina University a couple weeks ago with !

They are a non-profit program at CCU that helps high school students graduate & build successful futures in business . I was asked to be a guest judge at their annual pitch showcase where the students presented their business plans they created last semester ! I had a great time and am looking forward to doing some more work with them next school year

*before anyone says anything about the socks & slides - I did let them know beforehand I had to come there right from the shop and had to go back to open up right after the showcase lol

Coming to you live from the Most Overrated Pizza in America according to Crouchingtiger1029752 on Myrtle Beach Foodies page

I’m not sure how many times a day we’re tagged in these posts in these groups on Facebook , but most of the time it’s these anonymous accounts that have the most to say about businesses around here

The best thing I ever did was to stop responding to every troll , Google review , Yelper that had something nasty to say about us (sometimes I can’t help it) . When you put this much time & effort into something that’s your passion , it’s hard not to want to defend your product or your business from these people on the internet

But there’s always people that are miserable and looking to knock other people down , and other businesses that are insecure with their own product so they have to come after yours

But we just do our best to try and improve a little bit everyday , and to lift up and support other businesses around us . I try to just worry about the opinions of my peers in this industry & the people that lineup at our shop for pies everyday , thankfully there’s a lot of yous that are fans of average pizza and good marketing . And we appreciate yous for that 🍕❤️

It was an honor to have Mayor Barbara Blain-Bellamy in for lunch this week at the shop ! I contacted quite a few of our local & state representatives to try and talk about some of the poisons that are allowed in our food , and she is one of the few who responded back to me to listen & to offer some solutions

Thank you Ms Mayor for caring , and for all you do for the city ! Conway is lucky to have you ! And for the other ones that we couldn’t get a response from , I’ll remember that next time yous want a pizza 😆

Not only is one of my biggest inspirations & favorite pizza makers , but him & have a fantastic tomato brand that we are happy to now be using 🍅

Really excited to be heading out to California later this year to check out their process and to check out their fields ! We are super appreciative of them and to all of you 🍕❤️
