Just a little message from the bakers at The Daily Scoop, Dawn, Bob, and CJ. We appreciate all of you so much, and we’re glad we’ve been able to share lots of goodies with you over the past couple of years. You’ve kept us busy baking up breakfast treats, cheesecakes, pies, and especially cookies for you, and we’re delighted that they’ve been such a hit. We’ll miss baking for you at The Scoop, but we do have a little tidbit of good news for you today. CJ is going to be continuing the cookie baking (Sasquatch, and some other goodies) from her home, under the rules of the Kansas Cottage Baking Laws. If you want to stay in the loop, you can look her up on Facebook under CJ Kennard, or call her at 906-396-2348.
Again, it’s been fun baking for you, and we’ll see you all around town!

Merry Christmas!
We are open today (Tuesday) until 7, and closed Wednesday and Thursday to celebrate Christmas with our families. Please remember to pick up your special orders today. Our sale is still on, please see the previous post for details.

-Also, we will not be offering lunches this week.

We will be serving biscuits and gravy for the last time on Saturday, and will be closing at noon.

Dear loyal customers,
We want to start off by saying thank you for your support of The Daily Scoop. This crazy little idea that Wade had almost 4 years ago turned into something pretty amazing. There were so many hours of sweat and tears poured into this project and we're thrilled we were given the opportunity.

That being said, we have made the incredibly hard decision to close our doors effective December 27th. This decision wasn't taken lightly and we will miss our customers and the friendships we've made along the way. Above all, we will miss our employees and the relationships we've built with them.

We will continue to serve ice cream, donuts, and other baked goods until our inventory runs out. We'll be posting our Christmas pie & cheesecake menu soon, so watch for that. And of course we'll still have our biscuits and gravy on Saturday mornings, with 12/27 being the last day. If you have any gift certificates, please be sure to use them by that date as well.

Thank you again for your support. Owning a cute little ice cream shop on "Main St" in Small Town, America was a pretty awesome experience. Our hope is that this now gives someone else the opportunity to pursue their dreams.
