We're spotlighting our Kiva client, Cali Arepa, a takeout and catering eatery serving authentic Colombian street food.

REDC assisted Cali Arepa with their Kiva loan application in 2024. Previously working from a tent at events, Cali Arepa used the funding from this Kiva loan to assist with the purchase of a food trailer. This helped take their business to the next level by providing convenient and efficient equipment set up, as well as the ability to attend more events regardless of weather conditions. We are honestly amazed by how many people came out to support the Multicultural Festival, especially despite the weather! 🌧️❤️

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, tried our authentic Colombian arepas, shared a smile, and supported our small family business. Seeing so many people come together to celebrate different cultures, food, music, and traditions was truly beautiful. 🌎✨

❤️ A NEW CHAPTER FOR CALI AREPA 🇨🇴🫓

Three years!

Three years of hard work, long days, early mornings, late nights, challenges, learning, and so many moments that made us wonder if we could keep going.

But we did. ❤️

What started as a small dream has grown because of the support of every customer who stopped by our trailer, tried an arepa, came back for another, told a friend, shared a post, or simply said, “This is delicious!”

Now, after three years, we’re excited to give Cali Arepa a new look. 🚐✨

Our trailer will look different. Our logo is changing. You’ll see new images and a fresh new style that represents where we are today and where we hope to go tomorrow.

But one thing will never change…

🫓 Our authentic Colombian arepas.
❤️ The love we put into our food.
🇨🇴 The Colombian flavors and traditions we’re proud to share.
🤍 And the appreciation we have for our community.

This Saturday is going to be extra special for our Cali Arepa family❤️

Our U.S. Marine, will be helping us dispatch at the Cali Arepa trailer during this event, we don’t get to spend much time together, so having him by our side this weekend means more than words can say.

We are so grateful for every single person who came to try our authentic Colombian stuffed arepas and bowls, whether you were a returning customer or tasting them for the very first time. Your support, kind words, smiles, and patience mean the world to our family.
