We’ve been hearing A LOT of chatter about our Thanksgiving event, so let’s make it official:
YES — Omega’s Home Cooking & Catering will be hosting our FREE COMMUNITY THANKSGIVING MEAL this year!
No matter what our circumstances may be, we are going to make it work. This will be our first Thanksgiving at our new location, and while starting over comes with challenges, we believe in what we do — and more importantly, we believe in our community. ❤️
🍽️ THIS IS REAL HOME COOKING.
For those who may not know what our Thanksgiving meal is all about:
This isn’t frozen food.
This isn’t pre-made food.
This isn’t food simply heated up and served.
We are cooking FOR YOU, FROM SCRATCH. 👏
🦃 Turkey — traditionally smoked, depending on availability and what we can get our hands on
🌽 Homemade cornbread dressing
🥣 Homemade giblet gravy
🥗 Fresh chopped salad with homemade croutons & ranch
🍽️ Two sides — we’re still deciding!
🍒 Cranberry sauce
🥖 Dinner rolls
🍰 Dessert
🥤 Drinks
Our turkeys will be fresh, cut and portioned before being cooked. Our lettuce will be chopped and prepared right here in-house. Our dressing and giblet gravy will be made from scratch.
This is a true home-cooked Thanksgiving experience, and our family will be in that kitchen cooking for YOUR family. ❤️

Because this is our first Thanksgiving at our new location, we are starting fresh and working with a limited budget.
That means we can only provide a limited number of volunteer shirts this year.

🦃 LAST YEAR, OUR COMMUNITY HELPED US SERVE APPROXIMATELY 1,300–1,600 THANKSGIVING PLATES.
Think about that.
1,300–1,600 plates of hot, homemade Thanksgiving food served to people in our community.
And this tradition has been going for 11 years.
This is our first Thanksgiving at our new location, but 11 years of giving back doesn’t stop because we moved.
We may be starting fresh, but we are NOT starting over when it comes to our commitment to this community. ❤️
This Thanksgiving isn’t just about a meal.
It’s about feeding our neighbors, bringing people together, helping those who need it, and continuing something our family has been blessed to do for 11 years.
