Double Happy Double Happy is now closed - we are reopening as Bumble's Backyard in October 2024.

Guess what? Bertha, our ice cream machine, has returned from her vacation! 🎉 We are back up and running today from 4-9pm!

As we've shared, the business will be transitioning into Bumble's Backyard, Columbus's first dog park & bar. It's finally time for construction to kick off, so Double Happy will be closing after this weekend. Our plan is to be open Thursday-Sunday 4-9pm as usual, but if we sell out of ice cream before the end of the weekend we will shut down early.

We've had an incredible two summers running Double Happy, and we are so excited to bring back our delicious soft serve at Bumble's Backyard! We hope that we will see you this weekend for one last Double Happy treat and that you will stop by Bumble's Backyard when we are open soon. 🧡 Thank you to everyone who has continued to support us throughout the last two summers! Hi everyone! Unfortunately, we will be closed today and tomorrow due to ice cream machine malfunctions. Our sweet machine, Bertha, decided she needed an impromptu vacation.

We are open today through Sunday from 4-9 pm! As several people have pointed out, our menu this summer is more limited. This is because we will soon be starting construction for Bumble's Backyard, Columbus's first dog park and bar. If you're craving one of our old menu items, we are more than happy to make it if we have the ingredients!🍦

Bumble's Backyard will have the same soft serve, and a lot of our old ice cream creations will return! To be transparent, we won't bring back the Double Happy food offerings at Bumble's Backyard in order to keep the dogs on their best behavior. Our drive thru will also be retiring, but our walk-up window is here to stay. We're excited to finish out this summer as Double Happy, and to bring back our one-of-a-kind soft serve for you all at Bumble's Backyard!

Did you miss us? 🧡 We are so excited to be re-opening Double Happy on Memorial Day! 🥳

We’ll be slinging our classic soft serve cones and shakes while we continue finalizing the construction plans for Bumble's Backyard. Come see us on Memorial Day from 4-9 pm, and after that we will be open Thursday-Sunday from 4-9 pm. We’ll be serving ice cream treats only!
