Grub Quest

SIDE QUEST: I was journeying miles from home, into a concrete jungle with monstrous towers, on my way to a cave where the steel heads were gathering for a pow wow. After days of meandering around within a particular castle, mingling with the locals, I stumbled across this book.

I side were some great burger choices, hot dogs, and shakes.

I took part in choosing a special that they had going. The French Onion Soup Burger. It was a double. These patties were smashed, juicy, tasty. I ate this in roughly 8 minutes.

You can get crinkle fries or onion rings. I chose the rings and that was a good choice. The rings were fit for a Lord.

It didn't break the bank either. Give this pace a try if you're every down town.

**Son od Thurman - Galena** [Side Quest]

I was on a journey to a large pickle near a Great Lakeside town, in the Bright Orange chariot pulled my over 400 horses when the urge for more came to me. A quest popped up on me pad of infinite knowledge, so, I accepted.

Nestled down behind this market is a small town eatery with Big Town burgers!

Ar first, I was surprised by the price. $15 for a 1/3 lb burger or $18 for a 3/4lb ORIGINAL. I chose the latter, the one named after the restaurant... The Thurman!

Out comes this Absolute Titan of a burger, with the crunchiest of home cooked fries! Wow.
Cheese, mayo, ham, lettuce, tomato, pickle, bell pepper, onion, a true 3/4lb hunk of burger. There's so much on it that I'm likely missing some. The taste was more than magical. So good. Go here!

Overall review:
Drinks: Full bar, Coke products, beer in bottles and on tap
Food: a great selection! So many burgers, there's pizza and other items (see menu pics)
Atmosphere: small town tavern style
Service: fast and friendly
Price: Fair (after you see the burgers of course!)
9/10 (Some may go a little lower as they prefer a fancier atmosphere, but, I like the feel)

I will bring trying to get people to go here with me.

Josh Mccarty has changed locations and I've changed job positions. It's a bit quiet as far as getting together for burger quests. But side quests, we will start posting.

I had seen this potential hidden gem with good grub online and was riding the red chariot through the area in western Indiana, so, I accepted the side quest.

I ordered what I had seen online. The monster, the lion, or the Beast of a tenderloin. It is thick, juicy, the breading is crumble, crunchy. It's magnificent not only in appearance, but taste! Has to be one of the tops in my book. For safety reasons I only battled about half of it.

It sits along side the Country Mark pumps on route 231 in Quicy.

About the restaurant:
Family style menu
Serves pop, milk, tea, coffee, water, juice, and the like
Side options available

Worth stopping in if your driving on 70 from Terre Haute in an easternly direction.

Our Burger Quest had taken us to Heastons Greensfork Family Diner .

It's a cozy family hut down in the Greensfork valley, sitting smack in the middle of town.

Drink choices were: soda, tea, water, milk, juice, etc. This is a non-alcohol family diner.

I enoyed the Bring the Heat burger. The burger patty, frozen patty (but tastey), the jalapeños, fried onions, cheese, sauces, bun and fixins were awesome. It was a good burger. Gonna have to go point rating: 6

I chose tots... great tots! 8 for the side. What a path.

Check them out! I'd go there for food again!

Now, onto the next adventure.

We had a nice lunch today Heastons Greensfork Family Diner . We grabbed some good burgers, tater tots and fries.

Waki:

I was strolling through the depths of the Arches when I came upon a side quest.

Deep in the midst amongst the mimics... so many caves looking the same, arches all around.. the danger of draining your well earned golds was at hand.

Nick's Foods stuck out. Not because of the sign or stand appeal, or drink offering.

It was the price and the look of the Grub on the grill. This potential treasure drew me in like a dragon to treasure.

I chose the Italian Jalapeño Cheddar Sausage sandwich. What a pleasant surprise. Get that thing with the sauce that Nick makes. It has a little kick but is not killer.

I walked by another booth cooking up BBQ and they stopped me to ask where I got that because it looked good.

I downed this thing like a hungry Ogre and kept on thru the depths of the a
Arches.

Check out Nick's food stand at the next local gathering amd enjoy a great Italian sausage sandwich at a great price.

8-10 on the sausage! (I have jokes for that, but it's a food page) Journey on!
