Back to school time isn’t the same when your child has a serious medical condition. While the rest of us are shopping for school supplies, communicating with new teachers, and packing lunches, these families are navigating the uncertainty of the medical world, enduring treatments and hospitalizations, meeting with doctors, and trying to make ends meet.
