Hello old friends!

It’s been a very long time since we made a post, but I am in need of some help from our community. As previously mentioned in a post, my parents are now running Han Ma Oom Korean Market. I am sharing a post that I made on that page if you guys would be willing to take a look.

Hello 🙂 it’s been a very long time and we hope everyone is doing well!

We’d like to announce that we have taken over a Korean grocery store. The grocery store is called Han Ma Oom located at 764 Bethel road right off of the Bethel/315 exit. We actually started at the beginning of March, but because of shipping and low inventory, we wanted to hold off until we were satisfied with our inventory to tell you guys. We have a wide range of things-rice/grains, meat, fish, vegetables (some locally and organically grown), many sorts of kimchi, banchan, seaweed, ramen, desserts, rice cakes, drinks, ice cream and many many different kinds of frozen and instant items. Our store does not have alcohol yet (Soju!), but we have gone through the process and just waiting for our license to come. We are also in the works on the proper licensing to sell prepared packaged food, but we have a few things that are ready-to-cook that we make ourselves (ex. Bulgogi)
We may no longer be doing all the cooking anymore, but we can recommend different items to help you explore Korean food😁
We are open Monday-Saturday 10am-8pm and Sunday 11am-7pm so please come check us out! We are looking forward to seeing familiar faces! Phone number is (614) 725-0304.

We’re vaccinated! 🎉
We got our second shots yesterday, but unfortunately we will be taking a two days (Wednesday and Thursday) off to rest. We are very sorry if this causes any inconveniences, but we will be back and ready for a later visit!

We will be open Easter Sunday! We will take pre-orders, carry out, and dine-in. We will no longer take reservations. We have decided this because we’ve had too many people make reservations and not show up nor inform us of the cancellation. We are a small place with limited tables so we can’t afford to lose other tables for people who decide not to show up. You are more than welcomed to call to check if we have tables available at that moment, but we will no longer reserve a table.

We have a new sushi dish (1st two pictures). Dynamite poppers- sushi rice layered with spicy tuna and spicy crab mix topped with fried onions and scallions.

We will be open Thanksgiving day! (Regular hours for now) We will be taking pre-orders so please call ahead if possible to ensure we get you your food. Please be considerate and safe during this holiday. If you’re quarantining or deciding to spend the holiday with immediate family or don’t want to cook, we are here for you. We will be available on third party delivery companies, but please call us for an order if you are able to pick it up.

Thank you everyone for the love/sharing/support from our post last week ❤️

We will be open for Labor Day (Carry out/delivery through third parties)! Please give us extra time with orders that day or call us for pre-orders/scheduled pick up.

Also we’d like to apologize if anyone has been having trouble through 3rd party delivery. There’s been a problem with us not receiving orders even though customers put orders through/prepaid. If something isn’t confirmed or taking longer than expected, please don’t hesitate to call us to make sure it came through!

Hello 😄
We hope everyone is doing well and staying safe. We are still open for carry out and delivery through third parties. We are trying very hard to figure out the best way for us to move forward. We’d like to continue just carry out orders for safety reasons (even though we want to see everyone’s beautiful faces🥰), but it no longer seems to be a good option at a business standpoint. Even if we open, we are greatly limited to how many tables we can accept (looking at 4 to 6 tables) because we are such a cozy place, but we will update everyone when we figure out details.

Please remember us when you’re craving sushi, Korean, or Japanese cuisines. We have many options from meat lovers to vegetarians to vegans (if you’re unsure when it comes to your dietary restrictions, please call or message us).

-With a purchase of over $50 in sushi, you will get a Sake for free ($7.95 value, valid ID will be required)

- With a purchase over $15 of food, you can get a free soft drink( can) included.

Both are only for carry-out/pick-up orders placed over the phone. Please mention this deal while placing the order!

We are back and recharged! 😁😏

We are still doing carry out and delivery through third party companies (Doordash or Uber eats preferred!) if you’re making a pick up order, please try to call us for your order! We were hoping to be open soon, but with the increase in cases around campus and surrounding areas, that will be postponed. Unfortunately, there are too many cases coming out of restaurants/cafes/stores and some are still not grasping the idea of mandatory masks 😣. Please remember to protect yourself, but others too!

Happy Father’s Day weekend! We hope everyone has a safe and fun weekend with your loved ones.

We have two updates:
1) Unfortunately, we are going to continue only carry-out/delivery through third parties for a while longer. We don’t have enough staff available nor would it be profitable to hire/train new people unfortunately 🙁. We are such a small place that it really minimizes the tables we’d be able to serve with the safety measures we would like to take. We are still planning things out and will post an update as soon as we decide.
2) We are planning to close for a few days ( the current plan is July 6-July 10). Since COVID-19, our family has been working almost everyday (even most Tuesdays when we are closed!), 11+ hours a day, and while we were incredibly blessed with everyone’s support, it’s also time for some rest!

We hope everyone understands and we apologize for any inconveniences. We really appreciate those that made carry out orders even though your plans were to eat in. Please please please continue to call us for pick up orders! ❤️🥰
