Thanks for giving us one more brunch opportunity. We thoroughly enjoyed seeing all of you. We wanted to do more than one, but it doesn't look like it's going to happen. The kitchen won't be open on Sunday as we had hoped. So sorry for any inconvenience or disappointment. We'll keep you posted on any future events and information. Thankyou again for all of the support.

We've gathered as many of our forces as we can muster and we plan to open Saturday and Sunday for brunch 9am-3pm. We have lots of product to get rid of and we want to give everyone a chance to say their goodbyes. We're sorry for the sudden closure on Tuesday. There was nothing we could do, but we're attempting to keep this thing together for at least a few limited runs. So, swing by for some brunch! If all goes well and we have the man power, we'll attempt this again next weekend as well.

A huge thankyou to the community for being so supportive through these final days! We've thoroughly enjoyed hearing your stories and sharing our own with you. Our goal to remain open until June 17th, however, is not going to be manageable. Due to some extreme, and very unfortunate, circumstances beyond our control, our staff was cut to a number that will be unable to manage operations any further. We wish it could be different. Yesterday at 3 pm, we closed the kitchen and we don't look to reopen for regular operations in the future. We may try to open for special parties or events between now and the middle of June, but those details have not been ironed out yet. We're so happy to have been able to give some of you a little time to reminisce. Our deepest apologies to those of you we were unable to accommodate. Please understand, this decision was very difficult and sudden. The Dube Family truly wishes we could have made it to the final day. We will post any details about possible future events, ceiling tile information and anything else you all have questions about. We have to take the next few days to assess our situation and take action so please be patient. And please know we're truly heartbroken at the way this happened. Thanks again for letting us be a part of your lives!

A huge thank you to our fan base for showing up to visit us before our closure! The outpouring of visitors has been overwhelming! We are a small staff and we're busier now than ever before, so we are changing our hours in order to both accommodate the influx as well as the time it takes to prep enough food to feed the masses. Please understand, we do appreciate all of the business, but we are limited in personnel. We are doing everything we can to make your final visits positive! Thanks for supporting us!

New hours are as follows:

Monday-Friday 11 a.m. - 10 p.m.

Saturday and Sunday 9 a.m. - 10 p.m.

Due to the overwhelming outpouring of love from you all due to our coming closure, we are being forced to close early tonight. We must take the time to restock and prepare for another day. So sorry for any inconvenience. We want to accommodate as best we can. Please stick with us through this transition, and join us another day! Remember, the last day is June 17th. We have time!!!

There is no easy way to break the news, but the time has come. After 78 years of service, the Blue Danube will be closing it's doors. The official last day of operation is set to be June 17th. Those of us that work there would like to thank everyone for allowing us to provide such a comfortable meeting space for so many. We've loved being a part of your lives from the everyday mundane to the most life changing of moments. Thank you for coming to us with your engagements, your celebrations, your goodbyes, your need for safety, or even just to hang with people and decompress. The Dube family will be hanging in there until the end, and will be welcoming back some familiar faces to work some rockstar shifts in order to ensure everyone has time to say their goodbyes. Please feel free to share your thoughts and memories with us. We would love to hear them! Join us in celebrating The Dube and all of the shenanigans it's been a part of.

Starting Wednesday we will be serving Truth IPA ($4.50), Squirrel Nut Brown ($4.50) and Press Tart Berliner Weiss ($5.00). 5oz flight pours of all 3 will be $7.00. It's that time of year when beers are plenty and in constant rotation at the Dube. We felt a mini photo shoot with some fantastic Ohio brews and a few gifts left to us from our customers was in order. This Saturday we will open at 8 a.m. prior to the Michigan State game. Stop in a try something new or feel free to stick with the classics. GO BUCKS!!!!
