“WILL YOU HAVE THE MIDNIGHT CRUMBLE CHEESECAKE ICED LATTE THIS WEEKEND?!” 👀🖤

The answer is YESSSS. 😏

I’ve been asked, “What’s next?” now that Childhood Cancer Awareness Month is over.

The answer is simple: it keeps going. 🎗️💛

We’re not ready to give up talking about these kiddos. We’re not ready to stop raising awareness. We’re not ready to stop saying their names, sharing their stories, celebrating their victories, supporting their families, and remembering the ones who should still be here.

Childhood cancer doesn’t end when September does — so neither will our support.

What started as a special menu for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month has become something so much bigger than drinks and lemonade. It has given us the opportunity to start conversations, share stories, raise money, and remind people that these children deserve to be seen, heard, and fought for every single day of the year.

So, what’s next for Bad Habit Beverage Co and the Going Gold menu?

We keep showing up.
We keep talking.
We keep raising awareness.
We keep supporting the fighters.
We keep celebrating the survivors.
And we will always remember the angels. 🎗️

September may be over, but Going Gold never stops here. 💛

Meet C**ton Moore. 💛🎗️

“ C**ton was diagnosed at the young age of 9 on Nov.27,2012 with a rare type of bone cancer called Ewings Sarcoma. He was playing football at the time & wasn’t experiencing any pain just his left ankle was swollen more than normal. We had it looked at by Dr.Troy Espiritu & he scheduled surgery to cut it out & send it off for biopsy. Well, results came back & we were in shock, as we were told cancer. Our lives began spiraling on that day. Our baby boy had cancer? How? Why? We immediately got in with an oncologist at Egelston Children’s Hospital & chemo began. His 1st treatment was in Dec. which was a 5 day stay. We came home before Christmas. Had Christmas with family & Dec.26th C**ton was admitted back to Egelston with fever, mucousitis, pancreatitis, chicken pox,etc-that was a 28 day stay. He had 14 rounds of treatments. Every 2 day or 5 day stay,no matter what,C**ton would run fever, etc. We always were back at the hospital. C**ton gave us a scare on August 1,2013 as he began throwing up blood, lethargic, fever, etc. We drove him to Atlanta/Egelston ER where they pumped him with bags of fluids, one right after the other- He was admitted in the iCU & put in a medical induced coma. We were told to prepare for the worse as C**ton was very sick. He woke up on his 10th Birthday in ICU🙏His last day of chemo was September 28,2013.He remained cancer free for 3 1/2 yrs but then relapsed. We saw an orthopedic dr in Atlanta & he told us either amputation or death. He had amputation surgery below the left knee on June 17,2017.. He had to wait 12 wks to recover & was sent to rehabilitation to learn to walk & balance on a prosthetic. He started chemo again & did 10 rounds & was cancer free again on Sept.29,2017-4 1/2 yrs later,C**ton relapsed again in his spine. The oncologist referred him to a orthopedic surgeon in Atlanta & surgery was done in Dec.2022,where they fused his T2-T6 vertebra with metal rods. 3 months after surgery C**ton relapsed again-1st to the left, then right, then down & then cancer started growing up his spine. They couldn’t get the margins during surgery, due to paralysis & too dangerous.C**ton started a trial drug called Cabozentin but after 8 wks had to stop it due to blisters all over his hand, foot & back. He was very fatigue, vomitting,no appetite & slept a lot. Too many harmful side effects. He decided at that time to start repurposed drugs & natural remedies. It worked for about a yr & C**ton’s cancer just took off. He became paralyzed on August 8,2025- 1 day after his 22 birthday! We was seen in Piedmont Midtown ER where they transported him to Emory in Atlanta. He was there a total of 8 wks with 3 ICU visits during that time. We finally came home late Sept.26,2025 to NO home health care but hospital bed, oxygen machine, etc was delivered. Tonya(Discharge) messed up at Emory big time!! We as parents knew how to do it all by now,so we bathe him, wound care, cleaned his picc line & emptied out his catheter bag, etc. He was not going back to the hospital after spending 8 wks at Emory, unless necessary. He did see a wound specialist at this time & Dr. Pippas. However,on Saturday Oct.11,2025-only 2 wks at home. C**ton was having difficulty breathing & a bad headache & 911 was called. He was seen in the ER,CT,blood work & more test were done & admitted to Piedmont. On the 12th,we learned that his cancer had spread to a small area in the back of his brain, both lungs,he had a infection,he was septic, etc. C**ton was transported to Columbus Hospice on Oct.22,2025 to manage his pain & hopefully be transported home within 2 days. He declined rapidly & passed away peacefully with family & friends on Oct.23,2025 @ 9:34pm at just 22 yrs old. He fought for 13 long, courageous yrs with strength, positive attitude, giving back to other families & kids going through this fight,a will to keep fighting & beating cancer no matter what,GOD’s plan, witty, funny, handsome, warrior, hero & friend to many. I’m forever grateful & blessed to be his Mama on this Earth & to have walked this journey right by his side. I would have done it for any of my other kids, grandchildren & family. I’ve learned a lot through his fight & one thing you have NO control of GOD’s plan & that’s so hard as a Mama. You’re always wanting to fight, fix, advocate & make it all just go away. C**ton’s passing has changed me as his Mama & our family. Theirs such a HUGE void missing & we have to try & navigate this life on Earth without our C**t. I know he’s with Jesus, whole again & in a better place & we have to live like C**t in order to see him again.I’ll try my best to advocate, fund, research & help out these children & families effected by Childhood Cancer in C**ton’s Memory & Honor. We could have NEVER made it in these 13 yrs without all of you & are forever blessed by your love, prayers, support & friendships! We all need to Live Like C**ton & take nothing for granted! “

Meet Charlotte. 💛

“ Charlotte was diagnosed with B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL) September 2024, at just 2 years old.
Looking back, the signs were there: unexplained bruising, leg pain, fevers, night sweats, extreme fatigue, and a little girl who suddenly wasn't acting like herself. What we thought were growing pains and common childhood illnesses turned out to be childhood cancer.
Our world changed overnight.
Since that day, Charlotte has endured chemotherapy, countless procedures, hospital stays, infections, isolation, medication side effects, and more challenges than any child should ever have to face. Through it all, she has remained brave, resilient, and full of joy.
Today, Charlotte is in maintenance therapy and approaching the finish line. After more than two years of treatment, she is expected to complete chemotherapy in November 2026.
While we're excited to ring that bell, we know childhood cancer doesn't simply end when treatment does. This journey has changed our family forever. It has taught us about courage, faith, gratitude, and the importance of childhood cancer awareness and research.
Most importantly, Charlotte is so much more than her diagnosis. She's a funny, loving, t-ball-playing little girl who continues to inspire us every single day. 💛🎗️”
