As we close the doors on Season 3 at the Dairy Sweet, my heart is so incredibly full. ❤️
It’s hard to put into words just how thankful we are for everyone who helped make this season what it was.
To our amazing employees — our Dairy Sweet kids: thank you. Thank you for the long days, busy nights, laughter, hard work, and everything in between. Thank you for showing up and becoming such a big part of our Dairy Sweet family. We truly could not have done Season 3 without each and every one of you. Watching you grow, learn, work together, and take pride in the Dairy Sweet means more to me than you probably realize. ❤️
And I absolutely cannot talk about our employees without giving a VERY special thank you to Deanna and Karen — my only two cooks besides myself! ❤️ You two have been back there through the heat, the rushes, the never-ending orders, the crazy days, and everything else Season 3 threw at us. You stepped up time and time again and helped keep that kitchen going. I know how much work goes on behind that grill, and I hope you both know how incredibly grateful I am for you. I truly could not have done this season without you two.
And to everyone who stepped up to help us along the way — whether it was jumping in at the Dairy Sweet when we needed an extra hand, helping behind the scenes, or helping with my mini, RJ, so I could be at the shop doing what needed to be done — please know how much that meant to me. Sometimes it really does take a village, and we are blessed with one of the very best. 🥹❤️
We also want to give a HUGE thank you to Whit at redhead media❤️ Thank you for helping us share the Dairy Sweet with our community, capturing the fun, supporting our crazy ideas, and helping make Season 3 so special. We appreciate everything you have done for us and are so thankful to have you as part of our Dairy Sweet journey!
And as always, a very special thank you to Rick & Nancy Jenkins. ❤️ There really aren’t enough words to thank you both for everything you do, and especially for the constant love and support you continue to give us. Through every season, every crazy idea, every high and every low, you are always there cheering us on and supporting the Dairy Sweet and our family. We are beyond grateful for you both and so incredibly lucky to have you in our corner. Thank you for believing in us and loving us through it all. ❤️
To our sweetest customers: THANK YOU. Thank you for choosing our little ice cream shop. Thank you for bringing your families, telling your friends, sharing our posts, waiting patiently on those crazy busy nights, and continuing to support us season after season.
And to Columbus Junction and all of our surrounding communities — your support means more than you will ever know. The Dairy Sweet is so much more than ice cream and food to us. It’s kids working their first jobs, families making memories, familiar faces at the window, conversations across the counter, and a community that continues to show up for one another.
Season 3 brought us so many memories, lessons, laughs, friendships, and moments we will never forget. There were good days, hard days, crazy days, and days that reminded us exactly why we love doing this.
As we turn off the lights on Season 3, we do it with incredibly grateful hearts.

Now it’s time to rest, regroup, dream a little bigger, and start getting ready for what comes next…
