Can you believe it?! Bertha’s Beans has been around for 3 years!
We are beyond proud of how far we’ve come in the past few years, and we want to celebrate it with the people who made it possible: you guys! We wouldn’t be able to do this without all of you cat and coffee lovers. So whether you have come in a million times or never have, we invite you to come celebrate this momentous occasion with us!
And who knows, THE Freddy may even make an appearance. 😉🐈‍⬛

It’s time for our weekly cat health post!! Today we’re going to talk about pumpkin, featuring the Weruva Pumpkin Patch Up pouches (found at Lizzi & Rocco's | Pet Experts in Columbia, MO !!). Pumpkin is actually really great for cats & dogs! It supports digestion, so if your pal has a tummy ache, pumpkin really soothes the stomach and provides great support. It also has essential nutrients and vitamins that help support their gut microbiome.

Pumpkin puree that is sold in grocery stores is not ideal, however, because there is a lot of added sugar in them. The ones that are labeled “for pets” are more safe, because they don’t have all the additives that are bad for pets. Weruva is a good choice and they also have different flavors that you can try out, but there’s other great choices at Lizzi & Rocco’s, too.

About a teaspoon once or twice a day is a good amount to add with a meal. It does not replace a meal, it is purely supplementary!

If you have any questions, feel free to DM us!
