Good morning Columbia! When deciding on a special for the week, I always consult with Head Decorator Amelia, and this week was a short, simple conversation:

Me: Hey do you wanna play with fire this week?

Good morning, Columbia! This week we have a fan favorite special: The Strawberry Lemonade donut! It’s filled with strawberry lemonade jelly, dipped in lemon icing, and topped with dried strawberry pieces. This sweet and tangy donut is sure to quench your donut thirst! We’ve been getting a lot of requests for more peanut butter specials, so this week we have a brand new special for you: The Fluffernutter Donut: Filled with peanut butter marshmallow fluff, topped with dulce de leche icing, crushed vanilla wafer sandwich cookies, and a peanut butter drizzle. Update 3: 6:50AM. All donuts are gone so we will be closed for the rest of the day. Sorry for the inconvenience, we will be back at it tomorrow!

Update 2: 5:05AM. The power just came back on. We discussed it among ourselves, and decided we are STILL GIVING AWAY DONUTS! This community has been so good to us over the past year and as a way of saying thanks, we are giving away what we already have made while supplies last. We are not selling drinks of any kind, just giving away donuts! I will post when we are out 😁

Update 4:40 AM. Still no power but emergency lights and even those are starting to go out. We can’t actually sell you anything, HOWEVER we have decided to give out what we have made for free! Limit 1 dozen per person while supplies last. I assure you we won’t be doing this again (if I can help it) so this is your best chance to get some delicious cake donuts, danishes, and a handful of other items 100% free. The humidity in the building is going up and up so the sooner you get here, the better because we might have some melting soon 🫤 I will post again when we are out. Thanks y’all.

3:15 AM: Hey all, unfortunately the power went out here at the donut shop and we only have cake donuts and a few other things ready for sale. We are hoping the power comes back on soon but as of right now we have no power to the fryer and a proofer full of raw dough. We will keep you updated as soon as possible but it looks like we won’t be able to make anything else for the rest of the morning. Thanks for your understanding, we are really hoping we don’t have to throw out all this dough 🫤

I don’t normally put up our weekly special post until we are ready to open on Wednesday, but I wanted to give everyone a little heads up this week because I keep getting asked to bring this one back over and over. Give the people what they want 🤷🏻‍♂️: this week we are bringing back the Banana Pudding longjohn! Filled with banana cream, topped with whipped cream, Nilla Wafers, and a drizzle of caramel, this is one of our most popular specials ever!

As always, limited amounts made daily so hurry in tomorrow morning or call the shop to place an order for later in the week! Doors open at 5am tomorrow. See you then!
