This has definitely been a journey. I remember working in the lab at Otis Spunkmeyer to building my business from the ground up (Literally). It started with building (Big Blue) my hotdog stand from scratch in my Uncles backyard. Working day and night running back and forth to the store for supplies. Fast forward a couple of years later and me and my dad built (Kens All-Star Cart) from the ground up. To present day officially getting my own restaurant . You have a different since of Pride & Ownership when you build your own start up instead of purchasing. I know I had a deeper appreciation for it. While everyone was complaining about how they didn’t have enough money for a start up. I didn’t part my lips. I watched a $24.99 DVD about how to build hot dog stands and got to work. I was never the one for excuses only results. I didn’t get on social media and gripe about how people didn’t support me when I first got started. I went back to the drawing board and learned my demographic, switched up my marketing and MADE IT HAPPEN. This is our last weekend open but Dam it’s been a great journey with you all.

The Twist Grand Departure😃

The Twist will be shutting our doors on July 10th. We would like to thank everyone for the many years of support local, Nationally and Globally. We can’t thank you all enough for everything that you all have done for us. To be such a woven part of the community has been a joy within itself. You all are the reason we never shut down during one of the biggest pandemics of our era and stayed sold out every weekend. We are leaving out on Top and that’s best way to go. Featured on Food Network Guys Grocery Games, National Food Truck Winner, Guinness World Record, Governors Award, Proclamation and recognized as a leader in the food industry by Discover, Shoe drives, Business Scholarships and many more.
