A homeschool group came into the bakery today because they were reading a book for one of their classes that talked about making donuts. The parents gave us a call to see if the kids could see how donuts are really made. This was such a fun event and would love to do it for other groups in the Columbia, TN area.

We are located right off the square in downtown Columbia and are open Tuesday through Saturday 7:30 AM to 2 PM.

Hagelslag is a Dutch breakfast staple that you can find right here in Columbia,TN!

It’s lightly toasted bread with butter, chocolate sprinkles, and a little bit of salt on top. It’s a little different than the traditional version but still so good! It’s similar to the Australian Fairy Bread, but with chocolate sprinkles not hundreds and thousands.

We seriously cannot get enough of this cozy Nordic Cauliflower Soup. It’s creamy, it’s cozy, it’s giving hygge!

Soup season is one of our favorite times of the year and we are so excited about this season’s soup.

Grab your favorite coworker and come see us at BAD Bakery for brunch in downtown Columbia, TN. We’ve got made-to-order meals, house-made sourdough parmesan crackers, donuts, coffee, and plenty of reasons to stay away from your desk just a little longer.

Breakfast and lunch are served all day, so whether your “brunch” happens at 9 AM or 1 PM, we don’t judge.

Here’s my honest review of our Vanilla Latte Donut!

It’s an almond baked cake donut with a coffee glaze, vanilla whipped cream and walnuts. This is one of those “you can drink your coffee and eat it too” moments.

We are located right off the square in downtown Columbia, Tennessee. Open 7:30a - 2pm daily.
