07/23/26 Update.

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone that has reached out, offered help, and supported our restaurants the last few weeks. It’s been… a lot. But! It looks like things are moving for repairs and remediation. Our timetable is still an unknown - but realistically it’s probably going to be late October before we can reopen. That’s a mega-bummer. But we’re looking ahead at the next chapter and a fresh coat of paint, a tweaked menu, and a renovation to the space. And that’s the ultimate goal here: the next seven years.

In the mean time, our sister restaurant CITY GRIT will be selling some special Il Focolare t-shirts on their website to help with the eventual reopening costs that insurance doesn’t cover (which is like 75% of them, tbh). We’ve partnered with Spotted Marketing & Print | Columbia, SC here in Columbia to get these printed. So many people have asked to help or donate money and this is a way for you guys to help but also get something cool to wear in return. We have plans for some more merch and a run of a few more r-shirts in the meantime to help fill the gap. Head over the link in our bio (city-grit.com/store) to grab a shirt - they can be picked up locally at CITY GRIT or shipped nationwide.

Hey y’all. We had a pretty significant fire last night. Just a freak accident. We don’t know how long we’ll be closed. Hopefully not too long.

In the meantime, please support our other restaurants, and , as much as you can. We’re going to do our best to absorb the team over at the other spots for the time being but everything is an unknown right now. Hopefully in the next few days we’ll know more.
