It may be fall, but the weather hasn’t gotten the memo yet!
Joey’s Italian Ices is a locally owned and operated downtown staple, known for homemade Italian ice that’s dairy-free, dye-free, and made without artificial flavors. They can even turn their cream ices into dairy-free shakes.
There are fall flavors to try, too! I went with Biscoff Cookie Crumble for a little taste of the season.
The menu goes well beyond Italian ice, with soft serve, milkshakes, Italian sodas, premade ice cream sandwiches, and other fun creations. They also offer weekly specials to help you save on select items.
There’s a little downtown history inside, too, with reminders of the building’s Royal Blue Shoes days. And for families taking a break from streaming, check out the $1 DVDs for sale.
