Columbia Falls Lions regular meetings are every 1st and 3rd Thursdays at 12:00 noon. We meet in the Back Room of the Nite Owl Restaurant, which is located across from the Town Pump on Hwy 2 East.

Columbia Falls Lions Club Thursday holding one of its bi-monthly meetings. The Club is planning its fall schedule. Two more Plusoptix eye testing at schools, putting up the City's Christmas Lights, setting up the Christmas Characters to name a few. And yes we will be hosting the Night of Lights Parade. Information will be coming out soon on that.

Another busy day for the Columbia Falls Lions Club. Thursday saw Club members eye screening students at The C-Falls Jr. High. The Ruder school students will be next to receive the Plusoptix testing. This will happen in November.

Wednesday saw the Columbia Falls Lions Club hold a food drive at Super One Foods. Thursday the Rotary of Columbia Falls will be there from 9:00am until 6:00pm collect food and cash donations. The two Columbia Falls Clubs joined service to help better our community.

The Columbia Falls Lions Club on Tuesday, eye screened 447 Glacier Gateway elementary students. The Plusoptix cameras are amazing and can detect early eye deficiency for students. The C-Falls Lions will also be screening students at Ruder School as well as the Columbia Falls Jr. High. Wednesday a group of Columbia Falls Lions will head over to Libby to screen their elementary students.

Great turnout at School District #6 Back to School bash Tuesday at the Boys and Girls Club (the old Jr. High) was a huge success. The Rotary of Columbia Falls and the Columbia Falls Lions Club worked jointly flipping burgers and hot dogs together. The Rotary was doing the grilling and of course the Lions were doing what they do best, SERVING. Fun night by all!

Come down Saturday evening or Sunday to the Flathead County Fair and visit with the Columbia Falls Lions Club. We are located under the main grandstand Booth 42. We are collecting old eye glasses (so bring them along) and talking to prospective new members. We are here Saturday until 9:00pm and Sunday until 7:00pm
