This is the cutest and smallest unique ice cream shop in Indiana. It is located in Columbia city in Ohki Alley and well worth the relaxing drive. Their NEW FALL HOURS are 2pm-8pm

Ohki Alley is named after a Japanese immigrant businessman who came to town in the 1900s. He was one of the first in U.S. to produce fermented soy sauce and other items. The town honors him with this alley. It is beautifully painted with murals and has a great view of the courthouse.

But better yet 3 senior ladies opened the cutest and most delicious ice cream shop on the North end of the alley.
They have shakes, malts, sundaes, banana splits & root b**r floats etc. And for you ice cream lovers who want NON-DAIRY ice cream or NO SUGAR, we have you covered and provide options for you also!

These ladies are retired and two of them were in their 70's when they opened this shop. They have no employees and run the shop solely, 7 days a week 8 hours a day splitting the hours. It really is amazing what they have created, and the shop has great reviews. Kudos to these retirees for staying young by opening an ice cream shop after retirement.

Get there soon if you have not visited yet because they close for the season in October. You can enjoy your sweet treats while sitting in this beautifully landscaped alley.
