We are beyond thrilled to announce that after nearly a month away, we are reopening our doors.

Effective tomorrow (6/14), we’ll be temporarily operating with special dinner hours only (T-S 4-8p). We ask that you bear with us while we get back up to speed!

Once again, our family cannot thank you enough for the texts, calls, letters, visits, and donations while we were away. We’ve really missed you.

After such an incredible outpouring of support, we are thrilled to report that Carlos’s surgery was a success. He is now home getting plenty of rest and recovery, and is completely overwhelmed by the generosity shown by the community he loves. Without your help, he wouldn’t have been able to take the time he needs to heal properly. But because of you, he can.

Our family can’t thank you enough for the love you’ve shown for Ramon’s and for Carlos Sr. We hope to reopen our doors to you all soon! ❤️

If you know Ramon's, then you know the man in this photo.

For the last several years, he has worked tirelessly to feed the community where he was raised and preserve the legacy that his father built. And like most small businesses, this one struggles to hold on. Despite the overwhelming number of obstacles Ramon's has faced, Carlos Sr. has continued to work nearly every day to take care of his family, staff, community, and to keep this business alive. And he does it all while putting himself last.

Last month, our family received news that Carlos' health is compromised and he will need to undergo surgery. Effective today (5/17), we will be closing our doors until further notice. Our future is uncertain, but know that Carlos is determined to open our doors again to this community.

Sadly, without Carlos, Ramon's El Dorado cannot continue to stay open or manage its many expenses. At this time, we are asking for the help of the community he loves so much. Thank you for your support, Collinsville.

WOW. We are overwhelmed by the incredible support we’ve seen today for . You completely cleaned us out of food!

Ramon’s will be closed until 3pm tomorrow to give our staff time to rest, and to replenish our food supply.
