Having been diagnosed with breast cancer in 2014, as I was fighting for my life. I needed something that would make me feel better about my situation. So, during treatment, my best friend visiting, showed me some of her recipes. It reminded me of my mother's cookies. How joyful and delicious it was to waking up to a cup of coffee and having a savory bite of one of her cookies. I wanted to re-live that nostalgic moment so badly, that I grabbed my apron, washed my hands and "manos a la obra" (let's do it). As a grateful survivor, I am now more determined than ever to pursue my dream and share it with others! I named my new culinary project "Cielito Mio" (my little heaven) - a collection of delicious gourmet recipes! Lovingly handcrafted Latin-American 'comfort foods'! Enjoy!
'Cielito Mio' is a family-owned business in Memphis Tennessee focused on the production of delicious, homemade, Latin desserts. We offer a great variety of delicious cookies to give our customers some amazing tastes of Latin rich heritage sumptuous pastries. We only use natural ingredients of the highest quality! Our recipes have been handed down through the generations, and our baking practices result in exceptionally delicious and moist pastries.
