The Hudson River line added the Cold Spring depot in 1893, serving both passengers and freight companies, and remained a train depot until 1954. After spending 18 years as a car dealership, the Cold Spring Depot Restaurant opened in 1972 and has been a restaurant ever since. The interior features a cozy setting with a roaring fireplace and bookcases lining the walls. The menu offers standard American fare with an emphasis on steaks and burgers. The restaurant also serves a wine list that offers domestic and imported wines, and serves a selection of frozen drinks and beers on tap. The restaurant contains a plaque commemorating George Washington's trip to the cold spring.

Hi Everyone! I wanted to reach out to you all to let you know that I am at a new location. The Cold Spring Depot right by the metro north train stop in Cold Spring. I am taking the same approach to the Depot as I did BBQ RED with great food and fantastic customer service. I hope you will take the trip down to visit this great town and come see us at the Depot! and please like the Depot page I am trying to grow our online presence and could really use your help. thanks to all of you for your past and future support. HI Everybody Greg here,
I regret to inform you that BBQ RED is now closed. We made a good run over the last year and a half, but sometimes things just don't work out. I can not express enough how much I appreciate the support from all of you for this restaurant. We had a good thing going but at the end of the day there were just a some things that we could not over come as a business.

I will be moving forward as an agent in my families Insurance business Pretak and Pagones Insurance. So if any of you need insurance let me give you a quote! I need some help getting started in the business and we can probably save you some money. We do home, auto, and full commercial lines. give us a call if interested at 845-452-4800.

I just want to thank all of you for eating at BBQ RED. I will miss seeing you at the restaurant, but hopefully I will see you around.
