End of August already?!?! Time flies when you’re having fun 😜😜

Because next weekend is Labor Day Weekend, Welcome Home decided to do our first of the month Fried Chicken Dinner this Sunday—August 30th. So this Sunday is Fried Chicken Sunday with mashed potatoes, cream corn and peach cobbler. Come in—the AC will be on and food will be hot and delicious.

Next Sunday will be another delicious special and then on Monday—Labor Day—we will be closed to give our help a day off. Something we all need.

See you this Sunday for Fried Chicken. Yum.

School is just around the corner so here’s to all the students at all levels getting ready to hit the books and the sports fields. Welcome back and here’s to a great year.

Sunday’s Special at Welcome Home is going to be our good old fashioned Pot Roast with roasted vegetables. Dawn is making the special Sunday dessert since Linda is out of town celebrating her aunt’s 85 birthday. I know it will be amazing! Come out and find out what she is making.

Another week closer to Fall. But Mother Nature is not making it easy to get there. Hopefully the end of this next week we will see some moisture and somewhat cooler temperatures.

Until then please stay safe and healthy.

You can also join us in our cool dining room for delicious comfort food. Tomorrow is Sunday again. Our special is Brisket with baked potatoes and baked beans with Peanut Butter Pie for dessert. Come in out of the heat tomorrow 11-2:00 at Welcome Home.

Mother Nature has decided it needs to be hot during fair week 😜😜. We made it to the end of July with only a few days of extreme heat. Does that mean August is going to be super hot just in time for school to start?

Please come out this week and support our wonderful 4-Hers here in Thomas County. Both the kids and their animals are going to need help during this heat. Also all the adults and families who are involved. Good luck to you all.

Don’t forget the parade Tuesday afternoon and the free bbq Wednesday evening. Carnival open every evening.

Happy 260th birthday, America. 🇱🇷🇱🇷🇱🇷. This is the best country in the world and we live in the best area of the country—Northwest Kansas. Please enjoy the 4th of July and be thankful for our blessings.

Saturday evening both Welcome Home Cafe and Gambinos will be closed so we can celebrate this great country. Have a safe 4th of July.

At least the next two weeks. Also watch out for your pets. If you have a neighbor who is older and/or has some health issues, please check on them.

Tomorrow’s special at Welcome Home is our homemade Lasagna with green beans and garlic bread. Our special dessert is Chocolate Eclair cake. Come join us—the ac will be on. 11-2:00.

FYI. Next Saturday is the 4th of July. Also our 250th birthday. God bless the USA 🇺🇸. Thank you Dear Lord that we live in the greatest country in the world and even better that we live in the greatest part of the USA. Northwest Kansas has the best people and now we can say we even have a Cat 2 Hurricane (I just hope we don’t see that again).

We will be closed Saturday evening on the 4th so we can all celebrate with our family and friends. Stay safe. Next Sunday will be our Fried Chicken Sunday as well.
