Tambay. It’s a Filipino word that doesn’t translate perfectly. It means hanging around, kicking it, killing time with your people and not feeling guilty about it.
This started as a conversation, the kind that usually happens over food. A wild idea tossed around and laughed at. But some ideas stick. So instead of talking about it, we decided to do it.
We pulled together a few Filipino friends, some cooks, artists, DJs, and makers, and built a day around the things that matter most: food, music, stories, and community.
No tickets. No velvet ropes. No pretending to be something we’re not.
Just the smell of grilled meat in the air, music playing through the speakers, art on the tables, cold drinks in hand, and people gathering the way people always have—around food and conversation.
If you’ve been missing a taste of home, come through. If you’ve never experienced Filipino culture before, even better.
Come eat. Stay awhile. Meet some people. Hang out.
