New signature espresso drinks (served iced or hot) at Lantern. Starting with our Sweet Potato Pumpkin Latte that’s perfect for fall. All made-in house, nothing artificial, and never too sweet, our espresso drinks use our own house-roasted coffee to present a coffee-forward latte that’s easy to drink and delicately balanced, topped with our chef-made marshmallow fluff that’s toasted on each drink by hand for a perfect charred sweetness.

Available daily while supplies last along with all our other incredible coffees from espresso classics like Cortado, or Mocha, to drip coffee and special offerings.

Be sure to ask about our seasonal pour overs. We have some really rare and delicious coffees only available as made-to-order pour overs in our shop on Sherman Avenue.

Our Caramel Apple C***r Latte is typically served iced, but can be made hot if you like. The house-made caramel sauce and apple c***r syrup are all our own, made with the care and quality ingredients you’ve come to expect from Lantern. Maple Apple C***r Cold Foam finishes this latte for a sweet start to your drink.

Introducing the Lantern Apple Fritter. A lot of people have been asking us to do a fritter for a long time. And we’re very proud to finally present our first elevated take on this classic donut offering. Please enjoy.

A three-day process goes into every Lantern Apple Fritter we create.

On day one we gather organic Gravestein, Jonagold, and Honeycrisp apples, and hand peel, slice, and marinate them in brown sugar, cinnamon, a pinch of anise, salt and a delicious cask-strength Bourbon Wh***ey from our friends at Firewater Distillery - Rainfire Spirits - an incredibly delicious bourbon that’s been finished in Red Mountain cabernet sauvignon w**e barrels. These chef-selected, fresh-cut apples marinate at least 12 hours overnight in this incredible mixture.

Then, the next day, the apples are tossed in with pieces of our signature brioche dough and left overnight once again, to infuse a bit and let the incredible flavors combine.

On day three, early in the morning our chef portions them into exact proportions, proofing and finally frying them precisely to get that classic fritter crunch on the outside, while preserving our premium bakery-style signature brioche consistency inside. Once they cool a bit, they’re dipped in our Rainfire Bourbon Butterscotch Glaze, made with that same incredible bourbon selection, and our chef’s special recipe of brown sugar, cream, butter, salt, and vanilla.

Available in limited quantities, warm and ready for you at 7:30am until supplies run out.

Best enjoyed fresh. Pairs beautifully with our brand new Dolce Salé Petite Latte, or any of our premium espresso drinks. Bite into it or pull it apart in classic fritter fashion.

Introducing Peachy King. A Lantern Donuts Limited Tasting Experience. Made-To-Order and available three days only September 3-5, 2026 or until supplies run out.

Raised Brioche • Peach Bourbon Icing • Fresh Peach Flower • Ginger Cream Cheese Frosting • Candied Ginger Sugar Crunch

The Peachy King starts with our raised brioche, dipped in a house-made peach bourbon icing that brings together the best local ripe peach flavor, with the warmth and depth of bourbon.

Fresh sliced peaches are arranged in a flower added over the top, followed by ginger cream cheese frosting for a rich, lightly spiced contrast.

A candied ginger sugar crunch finishes the donut, carrying that ginger through with a sharper bite and added texture against the soft brioche and fresh fruit.

Introducing a Lantern Donuts Limited Tasting Experience

The Grapefruit Buzz is more than a donut — it’s a unique culinary experience designed to change as you eat it.

Our signature raised brioche donut is dipped in a grapefruit honey icing, bringing together fresh citrus and the natural sweetness of honey. Candied ginger adds a warm bite, while candied black sesame seeds bring a lightly toasted flavor and added texture.

But the buzz button flower or “electric daisy” as it’s sometimes known, is where things get interesting. Start by taking a bite of the donut on its own, considering the flavors, then eat the flower. The flower creates a tingling, heightened sensation across the palate, changing the way you experience the grapefruit, honey, ginger, and sesame with each bite that follows. One person who tried said it was like all of the sudden tasting in 3D. Everyone’s experience is different.

Take your time with this one. The Grapefruit Buzz was created to be tasted in this specific sequence and experienced from beginning to end.

SPRING/SUMMER 2026

We have an incredible forager who is going out into the deep mountains of North Idaho and bringing us local forest ingredients to make donuts out of all spring and summer. Think everything from Morels to berries, to Fiddlehead Fern, and Yarrow.

Anything edible and delicious.

No pre-orders, and these won’t be on Doordash. The only way to get one is to come in to Lantern and try them.

We’re also only making about a dozen each day, and depending on the ingredient, they may only be available for 1-3 weeks.

We’ll be keeping track of every flavor we release at lanterndonuts.com > donuts > forest flavors.

A brand new Chef’s Choice for the summer while it lasts. It all stars with our pillowy raised brioche donut, and celebrates one of summer’s most familiar pairings: Ripe strawberries and fresh basil.

We dip the donut in a house-made strawberry icing made with hyper local North Idaho organic strawberries, then top that with a strawberry and basil candy that brings both fruit and herb together in every bite. A generous fill of country cream in the center, made from crème fraîche, sour cream, yogurt, and cream, adds richness and depth and offsets the sweetness before a slice of fresh strawberry completes the build.

Bright, creamy, and built around the flavors of peak strawberry season.

We just heard that some people have been showing up for donuts at our shop, but we’re unfortunately closed this week through Thursday at least for construction. :(

So sorry about that!

The best way to know if we’re open is to check maps or our website for the latest closure notices as we continue working on our buildout. We do our best to keep those up to date with the latest info and also try to post to our social accounts as well.

Slow-steeped to highlight the natural character of this special coffee, our Nicaragua Cold Brew opens with bright notes of white grape and ripe blueberry before settling into a smooth chocolately finish. Clean, refreshing, and naturally sweet, it showcases the balance and complexity that make Nicaraguan coffees so approachable and memorable.

Served cold and crafted from carefully sourced beans roasted in-house. Optional cream and simple syrup for sweetener.
