Have you ever celebrated the Day of the Dead? This is a such special holiday in which people and families remember and honor their loved ones who have passed on from this life. It is a time of storytelling, of celebrating everlasting bonds and a way of feeling close to our loved ones. I love that Belltower Funeral Home is hosting this event! Come join the fun!

Part 3 of our journey through the Yucatan: Our tribe of travelers grew from 5 to 7 as we were joined by our son and another dear friend who is a weaver from a beautiful village in Oaxaca. We shared our last leg of the trip enjoying the jungle, the gorgeous beaches and more of the cenotes that the peninsula is known for…it was magical. We played a lot, we shopped at local produce stands and cooked and fed ourselves very well and we shared exciting adventures while marveling at mother nature’s creations. Monkeys in the trees surrounding our villa, brightly colored birds, the sweetest fruits and the reunion and laughter of friends all filled our hearts.

Travel is so good for the soul.
