** Life update **

After a lot of prayer and thoughtful consideration, Sam and I have decided to end our coffee roasting journey. Life is full of twists and turns and in the end, roasting full time isn’t the path we’ve decided to take. In the past 2 years of operating Northwest Coffee Company, we’ve learned A LOT about coffee and what it takes to roast. We’ve also accomplished our core mission by donating over $1,000 back to outdoor organizations in our community. In the end, we wouldn’t take back anything we’ve done and are thankful for all the love and support you’ve given us throughout this journey.

Next month, we’ll be offering steep discounts on the remaining coffee we have. As always, coffee will be roasted fresh and a portion of each sale will go to a local organization of your choice.

Introducing our first-ever organic light roast. This Ethiopian single-origin has subtle notes of floral, lavender, citrus, and rose hips, and will quickly become your new go to coffee this summer.

What makes light roast coffee different? Light roasts tend to retain more of their origin flavors and unique elements, reflecting the natural qualities of the coffee. Also, since lightly roasted beans cook for a shorter time and at a lower temperature, they retain more caffeine from the original green coffee bean.
